"Anne!" Mr.Lauw called for me. "Yes, Mr.Lauw..." I say, though I didn't want to answer him at all. "What do you want, old man? I've got things to do."
"Goodness, Anne! I just wanted to see if you were awake yet. I guess you are..." He could've said more, but didn't. Instead of apologizing, I rolled my eyes and continued what I was doing, which was sitting on my bed, texting Tina:
Tina:Wyd
Me:Drawing
Tina:Drawing what?
Me:An escape route...
Tina:Cool. Where to?
Me:Crowd Forest. You should come with.
Tina:Totally. 1:00 tomorrow morning. Cool?
Me:See you then. That'll give me time away from this prison cell lol but seriously tho.
Tina:lol. Bye.
Me:bye.
Now was the time to be as nice to my foster parents as possible. I need 45 dollars from anyone...I'm desparate. So I go to Mrs. Lauw so that I can persuade her enough to give me that much money. "Hi, mommmm," ew, I hate saying that. She smiles. "Anyway, I need 45 bucks." Her smile slowly fades into a gigantic frown and she starts to yell so loud that I felt the ground shake a little. "Just because you called me 'mommm' doesn't mean I'll give you 45 dollars. That's like giving you a new shirt and asking you to clean the garage."
"Now if that was Logan Paul merch, I'd take that deal." I say.
"The answer is NO. And that's final. Got it?!?" She gets on my nerves. I mutter hateful words like I wish you were dead and I'd rather be in an orphanage than with you, and I throw things in my way as I reach my bedroom.
At midnight, I grab a dress with a coat, some sneakers, some makeup I "found" around the house, and a hairbrush for a desguise in case the cops see us. I got ready and then I texted Tina:
Me: are you up?
Me:grab a desquise just in case...and meet me at the back of the school.
Tina:got it. Is it okay if Liam comes? I know you haven't seen him for years...
Me: Seriously?!? You know how much of a jerk he is when I'm not around.
Tina:Uh....! Just say its OK.
Me:Okay. GOODBYE!
Tina: Thx. Bye 😄
If Mr. and Mrs.Lauw find out about this, they are going to KILL ME!
