I walk up to my locker and grab my books before closing it.
I see Tori at her locker.
"Hey did you find your phone?"
"Yes and no"
"What?"
"Well I know where it is, I just can't get it."
"Why not? Let's go get it now." Tori says grabbing my arm.
"I can't. Zach has it."
Tori stops and let's go of my arm, she turns her heel and looks at me dead in the eye.
"Zach as in Zach Davidson?"
"Yes"
Tori squeals, but a few odd looks shut her up.
"You're so lucky that Zach has it. I mean you're never going to give it back but then you get to spend time with him."
"No, I'm not lucky because I don't have a password on my phone and he knows about Mike and about that text I sent you."
Tori gasped.
"We have to find Zach and get your phone back now!"
"He won't give it to me," I say sadly.
"Well, Zach has never met me," Tori says proudly.
Despite Tori looking like an angel, she's on the soccer team and is deadly when needed.
She dragged me over yanking my arm out of my socket, to where Zach was standing by the entrance.
He was standing with his group of friends, a cloud of smoke puff surrounding them.
We entered the smoke cloud, I started to cough and my nose crinkled and the smell.
Tori cleared her throat and their heads snapped in her direction, Zach's attention went straight to Tori, he eyed her up and smirked.
"Hey, I'm busy today but I think I can squeeze you in tomorrow," Zach says winking.
God our high school is actually like one for the movies.
Tori rolls her eyes and looks at him dead in the eye with the most serious look I'm ever seen.
"Omg, really? This is the best day of my life I can't believe that the Zach Davidson wants to hook up with me. Best day EVER." Tori exclaims with the most sickly sweet fake voice I've ever heard.
Zach raises his eyebrows in surprise, suddenly Tori's face went dead serious and I burst out laughing with some of Zach's friends.
"You're officially my best friend," I say between laughs.
"Well gee thanks, let me guess your best friend two seconds ago was Netflix?"
I give her a sheepish smile.
"Zach, the only reason I'm here is to get Alexa's phone back."
