Pug Love

Duni x Uni

Third Person POV

"Dang it, Duni!" The blue haired pug hollered out to nothing, "Why do you do this....."

In his hand, the pug held a small, slightly opened envelope. A sigh escaped his faintly open lips.The envelope was a pale pink.

A beautiful red ribbon lay on the dresser, piled with plushies. Uni slammed the now ripped envelope onto the dresser.

Now what's in the envelope?

Well...

A knock on the door was sounded through the house. "Delivery for Uni" a muffled voice sounded through the door.

Uni got up when his name was called. He opened the door.

"Mister Comics?"

He nodded. A clipboard was handed to him. "Sign here please, sir." He took back the clipboard and handed Uni the package. The deliverer walked away and Uni shut the door.

When he sat in his room, Uni opened the box to find a plushie.

And another plushie.

And another plushie.

And another plushie.

And another plushie

And another plush-

Wait

This was an envelope

Right at the bottom of the box layed a pale pink envelope. It had a rosie red ribbon. Uni had the feeling that he needed to read it.

After he looked at the plushies of course.

There was a plushie of---

Ashlie and Dashlie hugging????

And there was a plushie of Dawn and D-Dawn hugging.

Dick and Nick were hugging as well as Don and Jon.

And....

Duni and Uni

One thing was different about Duni and Uni.

They each had half a heart.

And were connected together.

'What in the...' Uni thoughts trailed off.

In confusion, he opened the envelope for answers.

Dear Uni,

I've had the pleasure of time on my hands, so I decided to make you something! But what!!?? Then it hit me....

Plushies!!!!

As you can see there's a plushie of everyone. But why are they hugging?

Well I needed a reason for us to hug didn't I!!?? The idea of a plushie me hugging plushie you warmed my heart!!! So I just had to do it!

Anyways my love, I do hope you like your present!

Now usually, Uni would have scoffed at the idea of plushie showing up at his doorstep, especially from him.

But....

He couldn't get angry. He felt a heat rising to his face. He got up and looked in the mirror.

Oh god.....

He was blushing. Of everything that Uni would be doing now. He went back to his seat, sighing and yelling out to Duni.

Uni's not that dumb.

He knew what was happening.

And he was terrified because of it.

The idea of it was just-

Just....

He didn't know actually what it was...

But he knew he couldn't fake his feelings anymore.

He took out a piece of paper and began to write.

Dear Duni,

The plushies are in fact cute, I must admit. And I'd like to ask you something.

Would you be willing to meet me at the tree right outside of Hardlanding?

I need to talk to you.

If you do, please meet me at 10pm.

Love, Uni

He folded the letter and put it into the envelope. And, lucky for Uni, he found a light blue ribbon. Making sure it was sealed, he put on the ribbon.

(Idk how mail systems worked in those days btw)

Once the delivery was on its way, Uni sat back and waited for 10pm to come around the corner.

The day slipped faster than Uni knew and had to run to the tree. When he reached it, he searched for Duni, hoping he was here.

"Ahh hello love" a voice speaks.

Uni turned to see Duni skipping to him.

Uni, who usually wanted to punch Duni when he saw him, walked over to the dark pug and did something unimaginable.

He kissed Duni

No words were needed

They knew what each other meant

They loved each other

And that was enough
