Red Love

Demon Dory x Duni

Third Person POV

Duni walked through the garden slightly smiling. Well he was going to see his favorite person in the world.

Dory

Just hearing his name made his heart flutter. Duni loved him so very much. And he knew Dory loved him back. The fact that Dory was a demon just made him love him more.

Duni's started recalling their memories together.

Dory giggled as he skipped through the flower fields. The once pure white flowers turning into a candy red when Dory touched or passed them. Though they would turn back after 24 hours, they were still pretty either way in his eyes.

Duni walked out from behind a tree and went towards Dory. "Hello love" He said making Dory blush though Duni couldn't tell. "Hi!" Dory responded excitedly.

Dory unfolded a red blanket and pulled out his picnic (more like pic-a-nick. I'm sorry) basket.

He opened the basket and gave Duni and him a piece of homemade red velvet (a/n does anyone know who they are? No? Ok...) cake. Duni smiled to Dory since it was his favourite.

"I love it"

Duni smiled at the thought of his picnics.

"Duni~" Dory sang out in the night. "Where are you? You said you'd be here."

"Over here" Duni said while holding something in a white cloth with a red ribbon.

"What is this?" Dory asked. Duni unwrapped it and showed him colourful flowers that glowed in the moonlight.

"I had an acquaintance of mine put a spell on these flowers, so that they won't turn to red when you touch them unless you want them to turn" he explained.

"Oh thank you! Thank you Duni!" Dory said hugging him. He handed over the flowers and Dory took them excitedly. He watched in awe as the flowers stayed the same colour.

"I love them"

Dory loved his flowers since they never changed colour. And Duni loved his red velvet cake.

Duni kept grining as he approached a grave.

Though demons can live for an eternity in this world, a witch had cursed Dory by accident and he had only lived for 300 years and had known Duni for 150.

Duni would have decided to rest with his beloved if not for the fact that Dory had said and decided to write this on his grave as a reminder for Duni.

"Live as long as you can Duni, don't die just yet. I'll be waiting for you when you come"

Duni sat down next to the grave. He pulled out a bouquet of flowers of all different colours with a vibrant red rose in the middle. He sat them on the grave, and Duni stood.

"I love you, Dory"

And he swore he heard him say it back.
