***Author's Note***
This chapter contains a storyline from series 6A.
When I first wrote this chapter I wanted to add storylines from the show into my book so that my books would continue to move with the show.
However, now I'm not so sure if that was a good idea, but I've decided to keep it in because I have already written it.

Jody and Tyler decided the best way to make Candi-Rose think they hate each other was to stay apart from each other. They vowed not to talk to each other, be near each other or do anything together, for at least five days.

This proved harder than Jody first thought. Even the thought of being apart from Tyler made her stomach turn. But it was what had to be done. So for the first time in weeks, Jody and Tyler went their separate ways.

Jody walked through the kitchen, still feeling a bit deflated. Charlie pushed past her. She had her head in a book and hadn't been watching where she was going.

"What's up with you?" Jody asked, continuing to walk into the living room

Charlie didn't say anything and continued walking. She walked away from Jody, through the kitchen and out into the garden.

She took her book and sat in her tent at the bottom of the garden. She wanted to be on her own and was feeling rather down. She was meant to be visiting her Grandad today, but he cancelled on her. Charlie sighed, as she looked at the dull pages of her nature book. Usually, she thought this book the best book in the world. It sort of came to life on the page as she read it. But today, it was just dull.

"Charlie!" a voice called

Candi-Rose poked her head inside Charlie's tent.

"Charlie! I need your help" she said

"Just ten minutes of peace!" Charlie said in anger

"But I need to ask you about Jody and Tyler"

"Jody and Tyler have nothing to do with me, go and speak to someone else"

Candi-Rose marched off and Charlie was finally left in peace again. Not for much longer though.

"Charlie! Mike shouted

"What now?" Charlie snapped

"Lottie Morris is that how you speak to your elders?" said a voice. A voice that Charlie knew all too well.

She jumped out of her tent, and there stood with Mike was her Grandad.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be sharp," she said running to her Grandad and giving him a hug. "You cancelled on me."

"You talked so much about this place I wanted to see it for myself!"

Charlie beamed a huge smile and wrapped her arms around her Grandad giving him a big hug.

"Do the care home know that your here?" she asked once the hug broke. She linked arms with her Grandad and led him into the house.

"Of course. I got Mike to arrange it."

There was a sudden rattle, followed by the sound of a door opening and closing. Mike, Charlie and her Grandad turned to see Tyler leaving the shed.

"Hello," he said, smiling.

"Grandad, this is..."

"Tyler," he said. "You're very tall. But where's Jody? Charlie says you're always together."

Tyler frowned, suddenly remembering Jody's plan.

"She's um... busy," Tyler mumbled. "See you later."
