After breakfast, Isla went up to her and Jody's bedroom. Seizing their chance, Jody and Tyler started filling up the water balloons. After a long time, they had produced a whole bucket full of heavy and colourful water balloons. They carefully lugged the bucket out of the kitchen and out into the garden. They decided to hide them behind a bush, and then it was time for Jody to go upstairs and lure Isla down. Jody was sure this prank was going to work, and if Plan A didn't work she had a Plan B.

"Isla, Mike wants you downstairs," Jody told Isla. She hoped it would work, but the huge gap between her question and Isla's response didn't seem promising.

"No, he doesn't, you're trying to prank me again," Isla said not looking up from writing in her notebook.

Jody bit her lip and lied, "yes he does, it's your turn to weed the garden."

"Now you're using my own lie to trick me," Isla laughed. "Did you really think this would work?"

"Alright, but don't blame me when Mike tells you off," Jody said and left.

Isla chuckled and continued writing in her notebook. She was very chuffed that Jody and Tyler hadn't managed to prank her and never wanted them to forget it. So in her diary, she was writing a detailed explanation of how she had sussed out when they were lying.

"ISLA!" Mike shouted. "YOU HAVE TO WEED THE GARDEN!"

Isla couldn't believe it. Jody was telling the truth! She crossed 'Jody bit her lip when she said Mike wanted me to weed the garden' off her list and feeling rather foolish, plodded downstairs.

Jody was waiting at the bottom of the stairs to meet her. She had her arms crossed and was giving Isla a grin as if to say, I told you so.

Isla smirked back at her and headed towards the back door.

"Mike wants you to do the front garden," Jody said, quickly standing in her way. She seemed suspiciously pleased with herself, but Isla believed her. After all, Mike had asked her to do the gardening.

With a grumble, Isla turned and went out the front door. As she did, everything went into slow motion, and all Isla could do was stand and watch. The door creaked, something tipped and Isla felt something very sticky land on her head. She looked around and suddenly realised everyone was outside laughing at her and even worse, Tyler was filming her. Her hair, in plaits, was now covered in orange slime; her clothes too. Her white t-shirt was no longer white - it was now orange.

Jody walked up behind her and said the words she had been desperate to say for the last few days.

"We Pranked You!"

Isla didn't know what to say. She didn't even know what to think. Her mind buzzed as she processed what had just happened. Jody and Tyler had actually pranked her and she was amazed.

She stumbled on her words, "but how?"

Jody grinned, desperate to explain how Tyler and herself had deviously pranked her.

"I tried to persuade you to come downstairs and into the back garden, where Tyler would have thrown water balloons at you. But when you weren't having any of it, I told you that Mike wanted you to do the weeding. Then we got Mike to call you downstairs once we fitted the front door with the slime bucket."

Isla nodded in amazement. She had fallen for it.

"Good Job!" she said, pulling Jody in for a hug. Jody squirmed as she also got covered in the orange slime.

Jody, now covered in orange slime, felt it only fair that Tyler got covered in slime too. She gave him a huge hug and Tyler, in the heat of the moment, kissed her on the cheek.

Jody gave him a glare and looked around at everyone. Thankfully no one had noticed. Or so she thought...
