So this is a double date fic with lutteo and gastina. I'm seriously mad at Disney for not putting a double date with these in the show, because I've been waiting for one since forever. And since it'll probably never happen due to the fact Gastón is in Oxford and lutteo is having their own problems, I've decided to write one myself. It turned out a lot longer than I imagined, but I hope you enjoy! X.

The girls were getting ready together at Luna's house. Luna was even more cheerful than usual, jumping happily around and repeating every second she was so excited she couldn't wait. Nina was a little less bouncy, and compared to her best friend, she would seem remarkably silent to everyone who didn't fully know her. But if you studied her carefully, you could see her eyes sparkling behind her glasses and a soft smile resting on her red coloured lips. She was just as excited as Luna about this date. They'd decided to go to the movies and they'd agreed on watching two different ones. Luna and Nina had chosen one and the same applied to Matteo and Gastón. First, they had tried to let the different couples choose, but as Luna and Matteo couldn't agree (which wasn't a surprise, really) Nina had proposed to do it this way. She was a little disappointed because she and Gastón had both wanted to go to an amazing science-fiction film, but she'd prefered to put an end to her friend's arguing (although it sounded more like flirting). Besides, she didn't really care about which movie they'd watch, she just wanted to have a good time with her friends. "Nina? Nina, do you know why they aren't here yet? We'd agreed on meeting here twelve minutes ago." Luna shaked her head in disapproval. "Chico Fresa, late as usual." But she couldn't stop a smile from appearing on her face, even if she tried to hide it. Nina, who had always been aware of little details, saw it. But she decided to not make a comment because she knew what her friend would answer. Probably something like "What do you mean I'm smiling? Do you see me smiling, because I don't think so. I'm just mad at Matteo for not showing up on time. He used to be so punctual, but now he always arrives late and blah blah blah". And then the conversation would turn into a speech about why Matteo was lying when he said she skated into him in Cancún because he definitely bumped into her. They had a special talent for turning every single conversation into a discussion about their first meeting. The doorbell rang and Luna practically flew down the stairs to open it. And as predicted, her first words were: "Why are you so late?" Nina just took her time and when she had arrived downstairs too, she shook her head with a smile. Luna and Matteo were tied up in a discussion about why the boys had been late. They were hopeless. Gastón saw her and walked immediately in her direction, relief clearly visible on her face. She understood, because it was always quite awkward to third wheel in their endless arguments. Her boyfriend hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Hey. How are you?" She greeted him. "Fine. Kinda relieved you came here fast, because I don't know how long I'd be able to put up with these two alone. Always the same with them. And this time it was even worse, because they were trying to get me involved too," he sighed. Nina shot him an amused smile. "They were?" "Yeah, Matteo was trying to blame it on me. Though it was clear he was the one who arrived too late." The couple both took one last look at their friends, who were still arguing, before starting a conversation about a book Nina had recently read.
