You look cute when you're stressed // Gastina

Hey guys. Here is a new fanfic I wrote about Gastina. It's about Nina studying at night and Gastón trying to convince her to go to sleep and just basically cute stuff, because let's face it: Gastina is pure cuteness (*tries to ignore the unnecessary long breakup; maybe next time try to overhear the whole conversation, Gastón!). I pictured this fic like they are living together and Nina is following classes at university, while Gastón already has a job.
Anyway, let's finish this pointless rant and get started.

"And I won't ever let you go"
"Wait for me to come home"

"Nina what are you still doing up so late?"

"I'm learning for a history test that I have tomorrow." She replies very tired.

"Then why did you start studying the day before?" It's so unlike her to do everything at the last moment.

"I know, but my teacher announced the test only yesterday and I had to help Luna with her math homework, and then my mum also needed my help because her computer wouldn't start up." He looks at her with admiration in his eyes. It still amazes him that Nina always seems to think of others first before even starting to think about herself. She sighs and rubs her eyes to stop her from falling asleep.

"I went through my notes after every lesson of course and I already asked the teacher everything I didn't understand a week ago, but I haven't started my actual learning. So now I still have to do a lot, but I'm so tired. I really want to get a good grade, but I've only just started and it's so much." She turns the pages of her notebook to look how much there's still left to do.

A small smile appears on Gastóns face. She looks so cute when she's stressed.

"Gastón stop laughing it's not funny. I'm gonna fail a test for the first time in my life."

"I'm not laughing because of your problem, love. You just look adorable when you're stressed."
Even though Nina is still really worried, he manages to make a smile appear on her face.

"I'm not sure how that's going to help me, but thanks anyway."

He smiles, happy to have cheered her up a bit, and places a kiss on her head.
"Look, I know you probably won't listen to me, but I really think you should go to bed. It's already 2 A.M., and you still have to go to your classes tomorrow."

As he expected, she refuses to take his advice. "I can't, Gastón. I still have a lot to do and I don't want to mess up my grade."

"Look, you and I both know you already know it all. You just have to believe in yourself." He tries to convince her. "Besides, it's really important to get enough sleep or you won't be able to concentrate yourself tomorrow."

Nina let's a defeated sigh slip out of her mouth. She knows he's right and she really does want to get some sleep.
"Okay, fine. But if I fail the test, it's all gonna be your fault."

"I'd be honoured to take the blame if the impossible happens and you do fail your test."

Nina closes her notebook with a yawn and stands up.
"You really have a bad influence on me, you know?"

"Oh, I know. But I kinda like it." He adds with a mischievous grin. Then he leans in and kisses her soft lips, before he turns around and climbs the stairs to go to their bedroom.
"I'll be expecting you in about five minutes, young lady."

The next morning Nina wakes up to find the side next to her empty. Gastón probably already left for work. She turns to face the clock and sees that she still has an hour before she has to leave for her classes. Great, now she has the time to go through her notes one more time. When Nina reaches the kitchen to make breakfast for herself, she is surprised to find a fully prepared meal on the table with a paper next to it. She smiles at the sight of Gastón's sweet effort and sits down to read the paper, while enjoying the delicious food.

Good morning, beautiful.
Now, it'll impossible for you to fail your test.

She turns the paper to find a short, but complete summary of her notes. When she goes through it, she gains confidence in herself again. There's nothing in in that she doesn't know or understand. She finishes her breakfast and then leaves for her classes with a smile.

"So, how did it go?" Gastón greets her when she arrives home.

"You know I love you, right?"

"That wasn't an answer to my question, but yes, I do. And I love you too."

Nina looks at him. She still can't believe that she's so lucky to have him in her life. She really can't think of anything else to do, so she kisses him. He is surprised at first, but it doesn't take long before he is kissing her back with one hand in her hair and the other on her cheek, making him deepen the kiss. When they finally break apart, he looks at her with a surprised smile.

"So, I guess it went well and this is your way of thanking me?"
Nina takes her test, which is already corrected, out of her backpack and shows it to him.

"An A? That's amazing, Nina! I'm so proud of you. See? You don't even have to study to get a good grade."

"I really have to thank you for your help, but I'm never doing this again." She replies with a smile. "Next time, I'll just start studying earlier."

"Didn't expect you to say anything else. But I still think my help deserves some more appreciation, though."
She laughs, before leaning in and kissing him again. This time not to thank him, but to show him how much she really loves him and to let him know that he's the most amazing person in the world.
