You Can't Force Love <3 Ch 9

Vanessa's POV

I woke up and took my sweet time getting ready. I took a long bubble bath. After I finished fixing myself up I walked downstairs.

"Morning V." Alex said. I didn't need to look up to know it was him.

"Morning Alex! How are you doing?" I asked making small talk.

"I'm doing rather well and yourself?" He asked.

"Fabulous." I answered. He just laughed. Gage walked into the kitchen ready to go. He was spending the day with his boys. They say they want him out with him day and night since he'll be married soon. I can't say I blame them but I wont stop him from having a life once were married. We are going to be married!

"Morning Babe." He said grinning at me.

"Morning Sugar." I said back. I watch Alex just shake his head and leave the room. He was like a brother to me now. Anytime Gage did something I didn't like he was on top of him. Haha. Earlier this week I had a picture on my cell phone of Orchid and I and he asked,'who she was'. When I told him she was my sister he seemed to not believe me.

"You don't look anything a like." He said.

"I get that a lot." I responded.

"Well she is really pretty." He said while studying the picture. I know she is even though she is my sister and I'm suppose to say that. She is one of the prettiest girls in our town. I've been thinking all this morning how to set them up. Evil I know.

"So Gage is Alex seeing anyone?" I asked non-chalantly.

"No he isn't. Why?" He asked with a grin.

"Oh no reason." I lied.

"You are a horrible liar!" He said. How can he always tell?

"I don't want to tell you!" I said.

"Why not!!" He demanded.

"Because I have a plan." I said sweetly.

"So you don't want me to be part of your plan?" He asked.

"Well I do but I don't want Alex finding out or you thinking I'm crazy." I said.

"If I was going to think you were crazy I already would have by now." He said with a grin.

"Humphh I resent that." I said grinning back.

"You going to tell me?" He asked.

"You promise not to tell?" I asked.

"Yeah yeah of course." He said. I was always match making with my friends back home it was like an instinct in me I couldn't shut down.

"Well I'm gonna try to get my sister to come visit if it's alright with you guys because I have this feeling that Alex and her... Well you know." I said.

"Really?" He asked his curiosity peeking.

"Yeah. I mean I can totally tell their personalities would be amazing together and Alex really thinks she's pretty." I said.

"Well your sister is pretty that's for sure. I like your plan. We are gonna work this out." He said while rubbing his hands evilly together.

"Yay!" I said while laughing at him.

There was a knock on the door. Gage went to answer it. Jeremy walked in.

"Hey" They greeted each other. Just as they walked into the kitchen Gage's phone rang.

"I better take this." He said while walking down the hallway.

"Hey Jeremy!" I said.

"Hey Vanessa! Rach wanted me to tell you she said 'Hi and she'll be calling you soon to hang out'." He replied.
