Dear Diary,

This morning Christi brought us to our foster home. When we pulled up it looked like a pretty nice place. A very large house, painted white, with bricks. It had a nice backyard, with a trampoline, a tire swing, and a pool. Hey, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

We pulled up and Christi wrapped us all up in a huge hug and said "I love you guys. Be good. Stay strong. Always remember your second momma is just a text or phone call away."

And with that, she wiped a tear from her eye and sent us in.

I knocked on the door and after a few moments, a woman in her late thirties answered the door. "Hello There! I'm Annabelle! You must be Brooke, Paige, and Josh."

She had a medium brown hair and piercing blue eyes and a white toothed smile.

"That's us!" I replied. Paige and Josh Both looked hesitant, but I wanted to start off on the right foot.

"Wonderful! How about I show you around?"

Paige smiled and Josh managed to say "That'd be great"

When we walked through the door, we saw a big open kitchen, connected to a large family room. It had couches, bean bag chairs, and it looked really cozy.

"This is the first floor, pretty self explanatory" she said with a smile.

"Let's go upstairs. I'll show you your rooms!"

She led us down a long hallway that had three doors on one side, and three doors on the other.

"This first door is the girls room." She led us inside. It was painted a hot pink color and all the girls had different bedspreads. There were four twin beds. One with green and hot pink floral bedding, one with green and hot pink striped bedding, and two bare beds. Those were obviously for Paige and I.

"You can pick out a bedspread tonight! We'll go to target and get all your wants and needs after dinner." She winked.

Next door was the girls bathroom. It was painted the same hot pink as the bedroom, and it had two sinks. One sink per two girls.

The third room was Annabelle's. We weren't allowed to go in there. It was the same case with the room across the hall, her bathroom.

The boys room was next. It was navy blue, and there were two beds; one with a green bedspread, and one with no bedspread. That was Joshua's.

"There are now two boys in this home, and we're super excited!"

The final room upstairs was the boys bathroom, painted navy blue, with one sink.

"Let's go in the basement! I'll introduce you to your new brothers and sisters!"

Love,

BMH
