thinking about you

Jimin was a lot of things, but he certainly was not someone who let his nerves get in the way of his actions. At least he had never been before. This was a whole new experience for him. He didn't have sweaty palms nor did his heart race, but there was definitely something there. Or that was a lie, his heart was indeed racing, at a very high speed. It wasn't even about the mood. It was about the girl. Jimin could figure out that much himself.

Ever since he had laid his eyes on her for the first time it was something different about her. Something he never really had seen in any girl or person before, at all. It was weird, and he didn't like it. So, he decided to stay away. Keeping his distance from her and her friend, even though it was a nearly impossible task. He was friends with Hobi after all.

Or that was until he saw the like. The event that made his heart jump out of his chest. Making him feel something he never thought he would encounter. The like he secretly had longed for all these years. It was there for a solid second, and then it was gone, like it never had been there at all.

"Earth to Jimin. Are you even listening to what we are saying, bro?" Hoseok snapped Jimin out of his deep thoughts. Jimin coughed and muttered his apologies. Hoseok sent him a weird look, as if he knew what he was thinking so hard about.

"Ok, let's take a ten-minute break and then we will run through the choreography one last time," Hoseok announced.

"What's up bro?" Hoseok questioned his best friend. Jimin sighed as he cupped his face in his hands, pouting his lips.

"I can't seem to think about anything else than your sisters friend and her mysterious Instagram like. It's driving me crazy," he confessed.

Hoseok laughed so hard his voice vibrated against his chest. Jimin knitted his eyebrows in confusion.

"Why are you laughing?" Jimin panicked. Hoseok patted his friend's back in a comforting manner. "Simply because I've never seen you act like this my friend. It's weirdly cute," Hoseok chuckled.

Jimin broke into a smile. Hoseok did too. He knew he could always rely on Hoseok if there was something that was troubling him.

Jimin still couldn't help but wonder if she had mentioned anything to his friend. If he knew something he did not. If that was why he was laughing. Not because he thought he was cute, but because he thought Jimin was being foolish.

He couldn't help it. His mind raced on the subject second after second, minute after minute and hour after hour.
