Current Time, Our Universe
Liza jumped on her bed taking out her homework and opening her laptop, she had to look up a bunch of stuff on the stupid maze for History, fun. Liza scrolled down the search results, they're was sooooo many stories of people gone missing, cool. Liza clicked one of the links, and started to read the all the legends and myths about The Forever Maze, most of them went a bit like this:
Et Miserere Semper Mors or more commonly known as The Forever Maze was built in 1690s when a certain group of women were accused of being witches, most of these women were eventually declared not guilty. However one of the women was declared guilty by her own husband , who was a judge. She was hanged in front of all the women who she was working with. These women stole her body and decided to make a giant burial. They made this huge solid granite building and buried the body under it. Their husbands did not like this and immediately reported them, which made them very rich. The women were now scared and homeless, so they decided to turn to the dark arts for help. They turned their building into a everlasting labyrinth. There were 13 entrances to the maze each leading to another universe they created. In the center of the maze was were the original solid granite building, there was the key to closing all the entrances of the maze. The 7 women lived in the original granite building, using each other, the world, and the body under the building, to stay immortal to the maze gets destroyed.
The maze has two types of enchanted passages. The Awkwardies, these passage ways go on forever and ever never stopping to you make a mistake and get sucked into the Pretendies. The Pretendies job is to convince you to become part of it. This helps the witches get more power. The Pretendies switch worlds until it finally convinces you to feel whatever the witches want you to feel, this will make you become part of the maze.
Huh, were these women were crazy, Liza thought. This story is so stupid though I mean it's obviously fake, since magic isn't real, and honestly who buries their friends body under a sold granite building? Stupid witches.
Her phone pinged.
Emily: You know that stupid maze that we have to read about for History?
Liza: Ya it's so fake.
Emily: IK right, anyway I was wondering if you wanted to go there and check out, it'll be cool.
Liza: Ya, but there are so many people that go missing bcuz they decide that's a good idea.
Emily: Exactly! It'll be like super cool!
Liza: fine. But we should video ourselves in the maze just in case anything happens we have proof.
Emily: good idea, I'm gonna ask Sam and Anna if they wanna come to.
Fun.
