the scent of freshly bloomed flowers lingered in the light breeze as i got ready for my cheesy date with richie. i walked over to my stereo and flipped through channels until i found rex orange county. i opened my closet trying to find the 'perfect outfit' some might say.
the outfit i chose consisted of a light yellow top with my vintage mom jeans including my nike sneakers. i put on a pair of reddish cat glasses and it was a nice outfit for the most part. the stairs creaked under my foot as i raced down the stairs. i opened the door making my way to his house until i saw him in my porch roses in hand.
"hello m'lady." he said getting up from his sitting position. "hello kind sir." i said chuckling lightly. he handed me the bouquet of beautifully picked roses as i took in the fresh scent. "they're beautiful." i said before pausing "let me go put them in water i'll be right out." i said running inside.

richie held my hand as we walked towards our destination. we were going to the classical cliche "movie theater" date. but with him it didn't all seem cliche, it felt special even if it is super cheesy. he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear smiling at me softly. i smiled back looking down feeling heat in my cheeks. "you're beautiful, now- well not just now everyday actuall-." he said before the feeling of lips on each other was processed in his mind.
"let's go watch that movie yeah?" i said gently pulling my lips of his. "r-right." he said clearly flushed from the action.

"stop eating all the popcorn the movie hasn't even started" richie said faking a frown. "sorry not sorry." i said grinning. he bursted into laughter. "who am i kidding, i'm eating the whole bucket before you can." he grinned stuffing pop corn into his mouth." "oh yeah?" i said grabbing handfuls of pop corn.
~ and so the two went at it for a while ~
"we probably shouldn't have done that" i said putting my head on his shoulder. " yeah you're right he movie is still on previews.." he said kissing my head. "oh shit it's starting, get ready to see me grow a pair and not get scared by it." richie said flashing a smile. "well see who actually grows a pair Tozier." i said.
"wanna bet?" he said. "oh it's on!" i said as we both grinned.
