Chapter 8: Stage One (Pt 1.)

Jungkook's POV.

"Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. breathe out. You can do this. You can survive for one night out with him. Don't be nervous! What is the worst possible thing that could happen?" I started to think to myself. Five minutes past, and no one in the car has said anything. "Oh man.... Should I say something? It's really quiet. I should spark a conversation! The question is... what should we talk about?"

The silence was broken by Taehyung, cutting me off from my thoughts,

"So, are you excited?" Tae asked me. "Yea, I could barely sleep at all! I could only think about what we were gonna do tonight!" I replied back.

"Oh? What did you think we were gonna do?" He snickered under his breath at my comment. I sucked in air and realized what I had said sounded fairly sensual.

"T-that's not what I meant!" I yelped trying to hide my now red cheeks in the palm of my hands.

"You get flustered too easily." He laughed.

"S-stop laughing! It's not funny!"

He continued to laugh, despite my plead. I started laughing with him, realizing how contagious his laugh really was. After a good 30 seconds, there was awkward silence again. I decided that Tae and I should play a little "road game" while we drove to our destination. "Hey Tae, why don't we play a game? You know, to pass the time!" I said gladly. "Oh really? What kind of game?" Tae asked with a confused tone.

"How about Never Have I Ever?" I said with a goofy smile. "Oh god. I mean, sure! Why not? Question is, who's gonna start first?" Tae asked me. "Well, who's the oldest here? When were you born, Tae?" I questioned. "December 30th, 1995. How about you, Kookie?" Tae asked me. "September 1st, 1997... Damn it! Your older than me!" I pouted. "Haha, that means that I'm going first then. Hang on a second. Let me think up some questions." Tae responded back. "Ok. I'll do the same." I said back. "Ok, ready?" Tae asked me. "Not yet, you can start though." I said. "Never Have I Ever... put gum under a table." Tae laughed.

"Ew! I have never done that! Have you ever done that?" I replied back.

"Ah, a few times in middle school if I remember correctly. Ok, your turn!"

Tae replied back with a slight chuckle. "Never have I ever had a boyfriend."
