I remember the first time I saw her. I don't know why I remember it, but I do. I remember the hospital. The room for newborns. She was lying right next to my newborn hospital bed. Just a few minutes older than her. Well, they came in with her a few minutes after they came with me, so I guess I'm a bit older than her.
We were babbling, like little babies always do. We talked to each other, we understood each other. Even though we were just born, I knew we were meant to be with each other till the day we would die. My brain was small and didn't understand the smallest thing in the world, and still, I had this feeling that we were going to be friends forever.
I guess, her dream wasn't going the same path as mine. And she turned to early, so everything hit her like a truck. No one ever knew, I was the one driving.
