First Birthday

1 Year Later

Bella couldn't believe it'd been one year since she left her husband, and the Cullen's, found Amira, gave birth to the greatest daughters in the world and even changed Amira, giving her more power than what she already had that she didn't know, at the time. She was what they called in the vampire world, a “copier.” She could copy other vampire gifts and under Bella's shield, share them with her. Them two, coupled with Jane, Alec and the twins, were impossible to defeat.

The twins. In one year, Nessie and Josie had aged to look around five-years-old, but their growth had immensly slowed down. Their powers? While Josie had psychokinesis, where she could mentally move objects, they had found out that Renesmee had telekinesis, where she could mentally move and control objects, including people. This had been found out when Josie and her were supposed to be napping, but had woken up and wandered off to find their grandpa. They could always “sense” where their loved ones were.

When they found grandpa, and their uncles, in the throne room, they thought nothing of it. Renesmee went and sat on Aro's lap while Josie sat on Marcus'. Caius was no where to be seen.

Then the double doors opened, and there we their uncles, Caius and Felix, struggling to bring in a hesitant vampire. Renesmee turned to her grandpa, putting her hand upon his cheek, wondering what he'd done wrong. “He slaughtered a lot of humans, very conspicuously, and he has to be punished for it.” Renesmee had nodded, and watched as the vampire had gotten free. She zoned her eyes in on him, making him stop, for she knew he'd done wrong. She then hovered him in the air, before moving him to the stairs infront of where they were sitting on their thrones. She kept him frozen there, astounding not only her twin, but everyone else, because she'd known she had this power, but never had a chance to use it. While holding the damned vampire there, she watched as her uncles ripped off his head and arms, before burning him. After that was done, she turned to her grandpa. “Can we have our drinks now, grandpy?” she asked, as if what she just done was nothing to be amazetd about, and for once her grandfather was speechless.

After that, the twins, only when needed, got to go on assignments with their mother, aunts Amira and Jane, and uncle Alec and sometimes Felix.

But not today, for today was a day of celebration. It was Nessie and Josie's first Birthday, and they were having the time of their lives. Since they never slept, Bella had made them do what she called “quiet time.” Between the hours of 12-8, they could study, read, whisper, and maybe watch a little TV, but they had to stay within their area, which was a huge bedroom, conjoining restroom and another conjoining room...a huge playroom, with all their toys and their study area, with all their books. But an hour before they were supposed to come out, Bella, Amira, Jane and Alec, who, besides Aro, Marcus, Caius and Felix, busted in there, surprising both girls and singing “Happy Birthday” in Italian, which had them blushing just as Aro showed up with a camera, taking pictures of the whole charade. That's when they looked at one another, smiling in unison as Nessie made the camera float in the air over to where her and her sister had been reading, and took pictures of all of them when it got to her, which had everybody smiling.

After that, even though they could walk, run, dance...you name it, Bella carried Nessie and Amira carried Josie into the dining hall, which had huge banners and streamers, all saying, “Happy Birthday” in different languages, because Bella had the girls learn all that they could, but if you heard them talk, after living in Italy for their first year, they looked and spoke mainly in Italian, or at least had the accent down.

They were each seated in the same chair at the head of the table, which seated around forty people, while their loved ones sat close. Then, another surprise occurred. Not only did Dimitri show up, who they barely knew, but so did the some more of the guard, along with their wives, which had both girls excited as they were greeted by all of them, separately. And then they all toasted to the girls, with very special gold goblet chalice's, decorated with ruby and gems, each filled with human blood. The girls had three cups each before the presents were brought in.
