Bella had no idea how she hadn't noticed the cars before, but then when she heard their voices from no more two football fields away, she just knew it was them.
Her so-called family.
“Other vampires are around,” she heard Emmett boom, as if he were ready for a fight, but then she heard Carlisle, the one who was going to take her babies away from her not long ago, reply, “let us introduce ourselves to them. We do not yet know who they are, yet.”
Bella snorted, because she had her shield around everyone, including the wolves to where they could “sense” them, but couldn't “smell” them, otherwise they would've recognized Jane and Alec, as well as the wolves, who all growled, but only Leah and Sam phased, where as Seth and Jacob put Josie and Nessie on each of their backs, respectively. Bella came forward as the Cullen's finally appeared, coming from the forest that separated their houses. Bella stood very still as she stared at all of them, and she even heard her daughter's hiss, though they didn't know much, if anything, about them.
Bella tried to keep the Cullen's a secret, but she could do that no longer.
“Greetings,” Carlisle said as steady as he could, but Bella noticed shock and grief on his face, and...regret? She wasn't quite sure, but it was possible.
And she didn't feel the need to hide herself from them.
“Hello Carlisle,” she said, greeting her used-to-be second father. She glared at the others, who all were still and silent in shock, including Edward, who also had that look of grief upon his face.
“Bella?” Esme whispered, choking on her breath, wanting to cry, but not being able to.
“It's Marie here,” Bella replied, then gestured towards her family. “We all go by different names...except for Alec,” she said, patting her 'brother' on the shoulder. He looked like he wanted to explode. She gave his hand a tight squeeze, asking him to stay calm...at least for now.
Bella finally lowered her shield so that they could all be seen and smelled. At the same moment, both girls noticed their father outright and hissed, knowing something bad had to have happened to cause him to not have been there for them. And that's when something happened that not even Bella could've stopped. Both girls, inches from one another, clasped hands, making Edward hover thirty fit into the air.
“Girls,” I warned, but not harsh enough.
“Those little monsters!” I heard Rose yell, looking at her brother, than back at us. “So the Volturi's allowed to make immortal children, but to hell with everyone else?!”
“No,” Bella replied calmly. “I assure you all that these are Edward's biological children, to whom he and Carlisle were going to kill the day that I went missing.”
They all looked skeptical, except for Carlisle and Edward, who was still in the air. The twins let go of one-another, causing him to fall with a loud THUD that shook the entire forest. Then, in an instant, they were each at their mother's side, as if to dare anybody to try and come near.
And that's when the Cullen's saw it...the resemblance, between Edward and Bella in two tiny, yet powerful creatures. Carlisle went to help Edward up as their family turned and glared at them.
“You never said she was pregnant!” Esme boomed at her husband, causing even Bella to take a step back. She'd never heard her sweet mother figure speak that loud before.
And then the squabbling began. Every Cullen arguing mainly with Carlisle and Edward about not telling them the truth about what had happened to Bella.
It was becoming quite mundane, and even the girls were beginning to grow tired of it.
Josie focused on a tree near the Cullen's, causing it to break and fall, finishing the neverending fight.
“Finally,” she muttered under her breath, crossing her arms over her shoulders while shaking her head.
Her mother glared at her and she shrugged her shoulders.
“What? I'm getting thirsty and so is Nessie,” she complained. “What do you want us to do? Go and kill that group of teenagers nearby who are smoking pot?!”
That had Bella snickering, as well as her twin. However Jane, Alec and Amira were almost rolling on the lawn.
Even the Cullen's had found her words amusing, as well as the wolves, because Jake and Seth knew it was a sign of attention rather than an actual threat.
“Yeah, I couldn't imagine you two on pot, though,” Amira said between laughs. “You'd probably be more hyper than you are now.”
And it was true.
“What are their diets?” Esme, the only one who'd really conversed with Bella, asked.
“We all drink from humans,” she said, hearing a collective gasp of shock. She put up her hands. “But here, we'll only have donated blood, which we will receive once, maybe twice a week from the Volturi...probably Aro.”
The mention of Aro had the Cullen's hissing, which cause Josie and Nessie to hiss, which then caused the girls to use their new, collective power...causing a tree to burst into flames.
“Oh, shit!” Bella muttered as Alec and Jane had to pry each girl away from one another, causing themselves to get hurt but for the fire to not spread as Amira went inside, grabbed an extinguisher, and hovered up and down the tree, spraying it. Meanwhile, the Cullen's looked creeped out. “Girls!” Bella snapped, causing each girl to stop in their tracks. “We don't need the whole town coming here, now could you please quit with the fire starting!”
“But Mama, he said bad things about our Grandpy!” Josie exclaimed, eventually getting loose from Alec's grasp. Renesmee did the same, and that's when the Cullen's had noticed...Renesmee didn't talk.
And that's when Renesmee produced her own recent advancement of her initial power...being able to show and put thoughts into other people's heads without physical contact.
“I don't have to speak out loud,” she said to not just the Cullen clan, but to everyone else. “But I can speak,” she said out lout, causing Esme to almost faint at her angelic voice, not like the rougher one her sister had ascertained.
Renesmee finally turned to her mother. “May we please have our 'dinner' now,” she asked very politely. “I'm awfully thirsty, mama.”
Bella nodded, patting her head, picking up both girls like they were empty boxes. She looked at the Cullen clan. “I guess both of our separate families will go and feed,” she said in a stern tone. “If you would like to come back later on to speak, that might be okay. But for the time being, it may be best if Edward stays away,” she replied, glaring at him. “I don't care too much for someone who tries to her the ones that I love!”
And with that, each family went their separate ways, though the Cullen's were more confused than the “Swanette's” were, at the moment.

I dedicate this story to all those who read this, but wishing I could get some more comments. I had to get another loaner laptop and lost everything, so I'm starting from scratch, pretty much. Just leave a comment, maybe an idea, and that might help me become less self-conscious, because with the week I have had, it feels like it's becoming harder and harder to be motivated to write when I think that only two people really like it.
Thanks!
