A sleep over

"Is that why you weren't at school for a week? Please tell me, you didn't try to k-kill yourself.." she lets go of me and i look down. "I regret everything.." she sits by my side and grabs my hand. "C-Can i sleepover? I uhm wanna get to know you..."

I'm so confused on what she is doing? why does she want to have a sleep over with me?
I've always admired her. But she has always hated me. At least i though she did. Why is she being so nice. maybe she is planning to get to know me, just to hurt me. Maybe she want's to find out that i'm into girls, so she can make fun of me. "Hellloooooo, betsikins." I hear veronica say, taking me out of thought. "betsikins? why the pet name?" she laughs from my comment. "it's just a nickname" i laugh a long with her this time. "oh, okay ronniekins!" i mock her using her name this time. "ooo ronniekins! i like that." why are we acting like best friends and that we've been like this our whole lives? "Well im going to get dressed and set up a bed on the floor for m-" she cuts me off "I will not let you sleep on the floor" I roll my eyes and add "we will discuss this after i get changed." She laughs. i get changed into an oversized hoodie and some leggings. "alr-" i get cut off once again but this time i get pulled onto the bed. "Ronniekins!" i laugh. "why make a bed when your bed fits us both." i blush and get chills down my back. "w-well i guess that works...." I mummble. "I-It's not weird right?!" I look at her and shake my head and laugh. "i just never had a friend, that would sleep over, i've only had archie." I say as my phone rings, veronica grabs it. "speaking of that little devil." She answers. "Ronniekins speaking, state you-" she says but getting cut off by archie, which i can hear due to being on speaker. "Uhm?! Veronica?! why do you have betty's phone?! did you steal that too, just like jughead?!" He screams i can see veronica get mad, i cut in. "Calm down arch, she's with me, dumbass." all you hear is silence, for at least 2 minutes. "w-why...I get that you-" i cut him off before he says anything. "Shut up!" veronica looks at me confused. "Im sleeping over at sweet betsikins." Veronica adds ignoring what just happened. "what ever bye, betts, ill talk to you later..." he says then mummbles something only ronnie could hear. "have fun fucking that bitch, you goddamn lesbian..." I look confused at ronnie as she looks pissed. "You listen here, jack ass, dont call he- he hung up, that asshole!" I sit silently as she tries to call him back. "HE BLOCKED YOU?!" I look at ronnie and try to calm her down. "He has always been stubborn, and he's mad that you took both his best friends. He isn't worried for my safety he is worried for his friendships, he says you took jughead away from both of us, mostly him, and then now me, but i don't care what he thinks." I look her in the eyes, he almost crying. "Betts...I didn't realize..." I wipe her tears and hug her. "I-it's okay ronniekins, that's in the past." She just holds me. This is when i realized this is the start of something new (I know yall singed that last part cuz i did). "c-can we stay like this...." she whispers sending chills down my back.
