We lost Kai. I felt myself shake in worry for him. This master of illusion is so going to pay. I followed the rest of ninja to not loose them and they did the same for me, no one wanted to be leader of the group.

I coughed again, feeling sick this alley is going on forever and is getting worse and worse. I felt like I was going to faint. Then I saw something. What the heck is that?! It was like a fire light, something like that.

I walk closer to the light feeling scared. I felt myself trip over a rock. Then I heard the voice I wanted to hear.

"Cole, you ok?" Kai said helping me up, "I found Nya and she is real."

"How long was I out?" I said thinking I must be out for awhile if Kai did all this in such little time.

"Not at all." Kai said smiling at me.

Jay seemed to push me and hugged Kai. Jay whispered something at Kai who laughed. I felt jealousy bubble up. Kai broke the hug then and walked over to me to discuss something. Maybe, it would be more then just business.

"So now we just have to find Lloyd." Kai said, nope, just business no fun talk between me Kai! We are boring people.

I nodded solemnly and just wanted to say something funny but that is Jay not me, "Yeah, how about we get out here and maybe we can find him, becuase this is all illusion and this is a small alley and he probably just made it bigger."

"Good idea." Kai said smiling and punched my shoulder, "I was thinking the same thing."

Soon we all started to try to head back and then a idea popped into my head. The master of illusion can't actually make it real? I started to run straight into a 'wall', which of course, I could run right threw. It is all fake and soon the rest of the ninja followed me threw the fake walls.

Soon, we were actually out of the alley. It didn't look the same, though. Turns out, we were totally on a different street. Lloyd was still missing, gone. Kai was rubbing his head and seemed very worried. I was a worried and a hot mess inside. Maybe, Lloyd was an illusion all his life and I just killed Lloyd, the real Lloyd.

I sat in the sidewalk. Kai seemed to notice my worried face. I felt sick on the inside, did I actually kill Lloyd? Not like I could tell the group. The ninja would just blame me or the illusionist would make an illusion to make me even feel more terrible. Even though it might just be an illusion, it still hurts and kills you.

"Cole, you ok?" Kai soft voice said as I felt him sit next to me.

"I'm fine." I said looking down and then turned to him, "Next step? Since, you been most of leader this entire time."

Kai's shocked face surprised me. Maybe, I should bring it up now, while he still in a weak spot. Where I can wham him with all the questions and what is Kai covering up? I stressed my face. Yes, I do love him. Then why do I want to beat the heck out of him, so much? Then by just taking up too much time thinking, Kai became strong, my questions he would have a good answer for, and Kai would decorate his door with perfection. His secrets could be kept a bit longer.

"Yeah, this illusionist has been pretty tough." Kai said did a small smile at me, "Honestly, we can leave him, he hasn't done anything to the public. Probably, just made us look like weirdos."

"What about Lloyd?" I said crossing my arms and looking his arm to help me up.

"Lloyd can take care of himself." Kai said and I was surprised to see a bit of hurt, of my rejection, cross his face.

Kai reached his hand out to me even more. Was it hope? What was the emotion of him reaching out to me? Just some good old friend zone. I sigh as I grab Kai's hand. Kai gave me a crooked smile as walked over to Nya and Zane who hasn't said anything.

Nya hit Kai on the shoulder, playfully. Kai just nodded to her, smiling. I walk over to Jay. He is my best friend or was. I don't know how to feel about him anymore. Jay did a smile at me.

"Yeah." Jay said looking at me, "We need to talk."

"So, now you know how to get Sharpie out of someone's skin." I said crossing my arms and I was surprised how pissed off I sounded.

"Honestly, I thought your shower would get it right out." Jay said but can't help but to smile as he puts his arms up in defense.

I rolled my eyes and just smiled at him. Kai walked over as we begin to leave. Kai seemed to read my mind and, maybe, he did. Kai looked over at me and I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Don't worry, Cole." Kai said kindly, "We will do whatever it takes."

I fully believed what Kai said. But he didn't think I liked Lloyd, did he? I rolled my eyes as I flew off, on my dragon, with the other ninja. Only having one thing on my mind.

Lloyd, whatever it takes.

Sorry it took so long!! I was focused on the Snake Virus since I'm so closed getting that book done! If you want to check that one out! Plz do! Just saying the Prologue is really boring. But you can skip that part if u want!
