"Take me with you
I start to miss you
Take me home
I don't wanna be alone tonight""Hey Kookie?" Taehyung's voice shook a little as he spoke for the first time in two days. He had been traumatized once more into silence.
"Tae? What is it?" Jungkook was shocked to hear his husband's beautiful voice once again.
Taehyung sighed heavily before lifting his face from where it had laid on Jungkook's chest and looked at the younger directly in the eyes. "I'm terrified that he's going to escape again."
Jungkook nodded before running his hands soothingly up and down the other's back. "I am too, Taehyungie."
Taehyung whimpered from the fear, before an idea hit him. It probably wasn't a great idea but he figured that it would be nice to mention. "What if..." Jungkook hummed to show that he was listening. "What if we moved?"
Jungkook's eyes went slightly larger at the words. "Move?"
Taehyung nodded, his teeth gnawing on his bottom lip with worry. "Somewhere he won't be able to find us." His body started shaking with fear again after sitting on the subject for too long. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist and brought him close.
Jungkook was silent for a moment while he considered their options. He smiled slightly when it hit him, and he left a soft kiss on his husband's hairline. "I've always wanted to go to America."
Taehyung's eyes went wide. A small smile replaced the pout he had been wearing for the last few days. "We could go on an adventure."
Jungkook chuckled. "Yes, we could go on an amazing adventure in America. And then, maybe after a few years, we can move back here."
Taehyung pouted once more as the reality of the situation hit him. "We're going to have to leave everybody."
Jungkook frowned, but squeezed his arms around Taehyung more. "It'll be okay. They are understanding. Plus, we can always have one last meal together, or a party, whatever you want."
•••••••
"You're l-leaving?"Taehyung nodded as he was attacked with a hug from Jin, who immediately started to sob into the younger's shirt. "It's okay, Jin-hyung. We'll be back in a few years."
"I heard crying.. oh.." Namjoon entered the room and saw his husband clutching tightly onto Taehyung, who was beginning to look a tad uncomfortable. "What's going on?"
Taehyung cleared his throat before looking Namjoon straight in the eyes. "Jungkook and I are moving to America for a few years."
Namjoon pursed his lips and nodded like he saw this coming. He took a few long strides until he was in front of them, and he pulled Jin off of Taehyung, letting the oldest cry into his husband's shoulder instead. Namjoon's eyes met Taehyung's. "I assume we'll have one last group hangout?"
Taehyung nodded before he took his leave from the apartment. The tears he had tried so hard to hold in finally left his tear ducts, and Taehyung collapsed in a ball of tears in an alleyway around the corner.
"Tae?" The oh-so-familiar voice made Taehyung's head jolt up. He stared for a minute before smiling at his bunny-toothed husband.
"Kookie."
Jungkook sat down on the grimey cement of the alleyway. "Why are you crying?"
"Because J-Jin-hyung had to g-go and fucking c-c-cry on m-me and I got u-upset."
Kookie took a strong grip of Taehyung's hand, running a thumb along the side, soothing the older. "They're all going to be upset, Tae. But it is alright. We will talk to them all the time and we will be back in person in a few years." The alleyway was filled once more with silence until Jungkook started laughing once he realized where they were.
Taehyung glanced at him with a raised eyebrow while Jungkook was slapping his knee from laughing so hard. "Why are you laughing?" Taehyung couldn't help but laugh alongside his husband, seeing him so hysterical.
"You don't recognize this alley?" Taehyung shook his head. "Remember when we had that project together and we met at the cafè."
Taehyung's eyes went wide as he, too, erupted into loud laughter. "Oh my God! And I sat here and cried and then you left me for a date with that Tiffany bitch!"
Jungkook snicked. "God she was a bitch. I hear she is engaged to Sehun."
Taehyung's body felt shivers at the name. "What a perfect couple."
Jungkook's smile wavered a little at all of the memories the couple shared. His thumb went back to rubbing soft circles on Taehyung's tanned skin. "That was what first caused me to accept my feelings for you, you know? Finding you crying in that alleyway... you looked so... helpless and just lifeless. I felt my heart break, and I realized then that I really did have feelings for you."
Taehyung smiled in the younger's direction. "You never told me that!"
Jungkook shrugged before climbing off of the dirty ground, reaching a hand down to help the older, who accepted quickly. "We should start packing."
••••••••••
Taehyung was crying again as the group of seven were saying goodbye to each other for the last time. Jungkook's and Taehyung's flight left in a few hours. They had treated their hyungs to a nice dinner last night, and then they had a giant sleepover in their empty living room.Jin was, once again, crying into Taehyung's shoulder, until, once again, Namjoon pulled him off. Taehyung wiped his tears before turning to see Yoongi squeezing the daylight's out of Jungkook, who was also crying.
Jungkook smiled as Yoongi whispered words, just for him, into his ear. "You were the first person outside of my family that I loved, Kook. Not in an intimate way, of course, but like a brother. Wait, that statement doesn't make sense. Umm..."
Jungkook started laughing before pecking Yoongi's cheek to calm him down. "I love you so fucking much, my brother."
Yoongi pulled away, rubbing a thumb gently along the younger's cheek. "You call me every fucking day." Jungkook nodded, a smile planted on his lips.
Hoseok started crying before he started his goodbyes. He hugged both of the boys together, squeezing them by their necks. "I-I am going t-to m-m-miss y-you so s-so m-much."
Jungkook and Taehyung chuckled while they whispered the same words back to Hobi. When the hug was broken, Yoongi wrapped his arms around Hoseok, letting him cry into his husband's arms.
Next, was Jimin, who tripped over thin air, almost bringing Taehyung down with him. He was also crying, and he simply gave a long hug to both of them, telling them how much he loved them and that he was proud of them for being so strong.
Jin embraced Jungkook, before whispering directly into his ear. "Thank you for taking care of Taehyungie. Please, never let him feel pain again."
Jungkook felt the tears stinging his eyes at Jin's words, as the oldest of the group pulled back, giving Jungkook a weak smile.
Namjoon ended the goodbyes by shaking both of their hands, followed by a hug. The group couldn't help but chuckle at how happy Namjoon was to finally receive, not just one, but two handshakes.
Taehyung and Jungkook waved goodbye as they entered the plane terminal, hand in hand, tears staining their faces.
