"Skies are crying, I am watching
Catching teardrops in my hands
Only silence, as it's ending
Like we never had a chance
Do you have to make me feel like
There's nothing left of me?
You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I'm made of glass
Like I'm made of paper""Wake up!"
Jungkook jumped out of bed, landing on the floor entangled in his sheets. "Ow! What the fuck Yoongi!?" Jungkook rubbed his butt as he stood up, throwing his blankets back on his bed.
Yoongi and Hoseok were laughing. "Sorry, Kook, but you told me to wake you up by noon if you weren't up. It's noon."
Jungkook rolled his eyes as he wandered to his closet, finding clothes for today. He decided on some light denim jeans and a red and black sweater, going to the bathroom to get changed. When he came out, Hoseok and Yoongi were sitting on his bed, with the picture frame in their hands. Jungkook was shocked to see tears in both of their eyes.
"Why are you two crying?" Jungkook crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, looking at the ground.
"I-I just miss him. So fucking much." Hoseok cried before burying his head in Yoongi's shoulder.
Yoongi spoke softly. "He was actually not a bad guy."
Jungkook snatched the frame from Yoongi's hands, putting it down rather harshly onto the nightstand, face down. "Yeah, I would know. He was my boyfriend after all."
"I just can't believe that it's been a whole year." Hoseok continued to sob while Yoongi wrapped his arms around him.
Jungkook scoffed. "Look, I'd rather get my mind off of it for one fucking day so if we could actually go do something, that'd be great." He started to exit his bedroom, but turned back around, making direct eye contact with the two other boys, who had just stood up from his bed. "And he hasn't been gone for a year. Today is a year since our first real date. The one I didn't mess up. So, maybe you should get your fucking facts straight."
"Chill out, Jungkook." Yoongi put a hand in the air. "He didn't know. You have a right to be angry, but don't take it out on Hoseok."
"Sorry." Jungkook mumbled before motioning for the two to head out of the room. Jungkook started to close his door, but stopped and walked back into his room. He wandered over to his nightstand, picking up the picture. He rubbed a thumb along the glass and had a small smile on his face while a single tear dropped. "I miss you, Tae. Happy one year anniversary."
Jungkook sighed before putting the frame back down and grabbing his phone and keys.

The boys sat on Yoongi's couch playing Super Mario Bros. Only Jin and Namjoon really cared to play, but nobody wanted to argue with them so they just went along with it. Jungkook had been silent, just fidgeting with the rings on his fingers. His knees wouldn't stop bouncing up and down."Jungkook, are you okay?" Jimin put a hand on his shoulder, but Jungkook shrugged it off, getting off of the couch.
"I-I'm going to try calling again." Jungkook pulled his phone out of his pocket. The group stopped what they were doing and stared at him.
"Kook, I don't think that's a good idea." Yoongi spoke first, and it was followed with words of agreement from the rest.
Jungkook's hands formed into fists. "Look. If I want to call him, let me fucking call him. I just want to try one more time. I want to give him one more chance. If he doesn't answer today then I will stop bothering you with all of my problems. I can tell you are sick of my issues anyway."
The group started protesting but Jungkook ignored it all, walking into the kitchen. His hand was shaking as he dialed the number he had in his heart. He was preparing himself for the same beeping he had received for the last few months.
Ring Ring...
Jungkook almost dropped his phone.
The phone clicked, and he could hear faint breathing on the other end. Jungkook's heart stopped. "Ta-Taehyung?" He couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
He didn't get a response. The breathing on the other end got a little heavier, and it sounded as if the person on the other end was crying. Jungkook decided to carry on. "Taehyungie, baby. Happy one year anniversary. I know we haven't spent the whole year together, but it has been the best year of my life because I got to love you." Jungkook tried to control his breathing, which was proving to be difficult because of the sobs. "I miss you so fucking much, Taehyung. I am not sure where you are, but I hope that you are okay."
The other line was filled with the sound of sobs. Jungkook knew that the recipient wouldn't respond, so he said one final thing before he hung up.
"I love you so much, Kim Taehyung."
