Jimin's POV
Things got a bit awkward between me and Taehyung when we reached the mall. There was the silence filling us and it felt uncomfortable, I just hope there's a movie that we could watch a bit earlier so I can talk about something. I suddenly stopped at my tracks and something caught my attention.
"Taehyung!" I called him.
He turned to my direction, "A pet shop!" I pointed excitedly.
"You want to got there?" Taehyung gave an unsure look.
"Yes! C'mon! Please!" I asked with a baby tone.
We entered the pet shop and went to the dog exhibit, there we saw various dogs of various species. The only thing I could think of was how cute all them are!
"Kya! This one is jumping around excitedly!" I squealed at how playful the dog was as if it was trying to reach out to me.
I could only give a disappointed sigh as I know my parents wouldn't allow pets in the house. Another day buddy, maybe... I gave the puppy a sad eyes.
"What's wrong?" Taehyung asked.
"Oh nothing..." I said.
"It doesn't look like it's nothing, you're giving sad eyes to the puppy and look it's sad now."
"What?" I gave a confused look.
Taehyung sighed, "Just tell me what's wrong fluffy."
Again with that nickname, aish!... "Well, I want to keep a pet but the dorm won't allow it..." I turned to the puppy again, "And I'm just sad that I can't stay any longer with this little guy." I confessed.
Taehyung just kept quiet and stared at the puppy as well. "If you're gonna mope about it, can we just watch a comedy movie instead."
"Seriously? Is this your way of cheering me up?" I questioned.
Taehyung giggled, "C'mon let's go watch a movie to cheer you up." He gave me that box smile that always gave me that weird feeling in my stomach.
"O-okay."
Other's POV
The movie date went pretty well, Taehyung was glad he manage to make Jimin laugh with the movie he chose. The rest of the date they went around the mall and basically did a bit of window shopping. The date ended with the two at the bus stop.
"I'll be going back to my dorm now, how bout you?" Jimin asked.
"Guess I'll be going back home." Taehyung said.
The two stood awkwardly still at the bus stop waiting for Jimin's bus. Jimin wanted to talk about something but can't think of any topic to relate with. Taehyung was just whistling waiting patiently. The bus suddenly arrive, making the awkward atmosphere a bit less... Well... Awkward.
"Well, I'll be going now." Jimin said but as he was about to board his bus, Taehyung stopped him. Jimin turned to him.
"Umm... How bout we trade numbers?" Taehyung asked with a bit of blush.
