Chapter 14

I woke up in a bed. I saw white all around.
"You drool when you sleep" someone said
A girl with curly blonde hair and Gray eyes was siting next to me. Annabeth.
"Where am I" I sat up.
"Here" she handed me a cup with a straw.
Inside was a liquid of some sort. It looked like apple juice.
"Hey perce" Grover walked in and annabeth got up and left.
"Hey"
"How are you" he asked
"Tired"
"What does that taste like?" He asked as I drained the drink.
"Sorry I should have let you have some" I said
"No" he answered "I just wanted to know"
"My moms homemade chocolate chip cookies" I said quietly. Tears filled my eyes and threatened to fall.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked
"Yeah" I said
"Okay Chiron and Mr D will want to see you" he said

He led me to a big house. My legs ached but after training with Bruce I was able to walk without falling.
From here I had a good view of the valley. Ancient Greek buildings were dotted all around.
Two guys were sitting on the porch and Annabeth. Chiron was one of them.
The other guy was small and porky he had a red nose and big eyes.
"That's Mr D" he said "I think you know Annabeth and you know Chiron"
"Welcome to camp halfblood" Mr D said "bla bla bla"
"What is camp halfblood" I asked
"It's a safe place" Chiron said "for demigods. Annabeth will you go make sure his bunk is set up in cabin eleven?"
"Sure" she said and she ran off
"What is happening" I asked
"Percy" Chiron said "did you ever know your dad?"
"My step dad?" I asked
"No" he answered "your real dad."
"No" I said a little bitterly "he got lost at sea that's what Mom said"
"Well" Chiron said "he is a god of Olympus"
"Wait like Zeus apollo hades?" I asked
"Yes"
"They are real?" I muttered
"Annabeth will explain some more when she gives you a tour" he said

I found Annabeth leaning on a building reading. I realized the book was in a different language. Greek? Latin?
"Come on" she said "lets go"
I followed her around.
"So" I said "who's your godly parent"
"Athena" she said
A lot of kids were giving me glares.
"Um why are they glaring" I asked
"Most kids would love to get to do what you did on the hill" she said
"Almost get killed?" I asked
"No" she said "kill the Minotaur"
I frowned that was my second close to death experience and I don't see why you'd want that even for glory.
I suddenly remembered.
"Where's my bag" I asked
"Luke is watching it"
"Did you go through it" I asked
"No but I can't say the same for the Hermes cabin." She said
"Can we hurry" I said
She shrugged
"Why" she asked
"None of your business" I snapped "sorry"
"It's fine"
"My mom before she died she gave me...something" I said "I don't want to talk about it"
