A new beginning (ashton Irwin 5sos fanfic)

Chapter one

Layla's p.o.v  4/9/17

I was waiting for the train to arrive, I didn't have much luggage with me as the rest of my stuff was going to be delivered straight to the dorms on Wednesday. I had one suitcase and my rucksack on my back with the essentials and stuff I may need over the next few days.

I was 18, soon to be 19 in October, I couldn't really believe that I was actually going to university and moving away temporarily, it was something I had always imagined but something I had always feared at the same time, leaving my mum alone by herself since my dad had died in a car crash when I was 3, I knew she would be okay since she has her friends and I think she is getting close to this guy she knows but I'm not too sure. It also meant leaving my old friends and making new ones and if I'm honest I don't believe I am fully ready to do that.

I was taken away from my thoughts when I got knocked over by a guy of about 6ft rushing to get a train that had just arrived, my train, I fell to the ground as I was fairly petite so a 6ft tall guy of an average build could easily knock me over if he ran into me. I looked up to the guy ready to let my anger out on him for knocking me over when I looked into his eyes (cliché I know) they were a greeny colour with a hint of hazel brown, his dirty blonde hair pushed back by his hands since he was obviously in need of a haircut, but I loved the way it fell on his head, a sort of surfer look he had going on. He held a hand to help me up, which I so happily accepted, he quickly apologised and sped off but not before turning around one more time and leaving me with his charming smile.

I had wondered why he was in such a rush considering the train waits for a while for everyone to board before leaving so it's not like he was gonna miss the train?

I broke from my thoughts yet again when I realised I should most probably get on the train else I will end up missing it. I grab my suitcase and wheel it along the train until I see a nice and empty area, a four seater with a table and a window of course. I know it was selfish of me to take up four seats but I did like my personal space and I thought I could at least try and get some work done since I have a long journey ahead of me, plus if necessary I guess someone could sit on the other side of the table but for now I wasn't moving.

I KNOW THIS IS SHORT
I promise they will get longer but it's just the first chapter so give me a bit of time to get into the story as starting off is proving to be quite difficult 😂

OKAY SO UPDATE IM GONNA BE ON A PLANE FOR 4 HOURS TOMORROW SO ITS LIKELY ILL BE PROPER BORED AND WRITE ANOTHER CHAPTER SO KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED
