Glitch's POV
Peter and i became bestfriend for the pass few days. We hang out together and stop criminals from doing crimes. The mens never show up for the pass few days , so nothing seems to be a problem . Or that's what i think. Mr. Stark and i have a like father and daughter bond , as well with the avengers they are a family to me.
Peter and I are walking through the city , it's almost night fall.
"So what are your plans when you grew up?" Peter asked
"You know , if i'm still alive. I want to be a super hero, you know like you and mr.stark ." I said
"But you're one of the best super hero i know" he said
"I don't know , i don't want to go back to my father either because i know he want me back " i said
"You know what, you're not going back to your father. You're much safer here in the putside world" he said
"Thank you for, you know, being there for me, for being my friend" i said smiling at him
Peter's POV
Okay that hurt. That hit my like a truck. She just labelled me as a friend. I wanted to be more than friends but i'm too shy to say so. And besides i know she'll reject me like everyone else.
We continued walking down the streets of Queens, when we heards shouting. We ran to the peoples aid, and saw a burning building. None of the rescuers have arrive yet so people are panicking.
Glitch's POV
"we need to save them" I said
"are out of your mind , you might die in there. It's better that I'm the one who enter the building" he said
"please I can protect myself. I can teleport them out of the building faster" I argued
"whatever, you wait here and I'll be in and out" he said
"you said i 'm one of the best superhero. Then I can protect the people here . so please let me help" I plead
"I know, but this is for your safety and just stay here" he said as he enter the burning building.
A man and a woman are crying so I walked to them and try to talk to them.
"is anyone there in the building? I think I can help" I said
"our son and two daughters are stuck in the 4th floor of the building" the woman cried
I looked at the building it's nearly collapsing. Wait something is wrong. I feel that there's something going to explode any minute now. I saw Peter exit the building a man and a child are on his shoulder.
"wait for me here, I'll make sure your children are safe." I said as I ran inside the building
"glitch what are you doing?!" peter exclaimed
"I'm saving someone's life" I said as I disappeared through the flames of the burning building. Hearing Peter's voice yelling for my name.
I teleported to the 4th floor and started looking for the children in every room. I am down in the last room when I heard crying. I entered the room as yelled ' is there anyone here!?' . I begun looking at the rooms ending up in the closet. I saw three little kids crying.
"Hey, kids calm down" i said as i carried them one by one.
I grabbed a tshirt and rip it into pieces.
"Here cover your nose with this" i said as i hand them each of the cloth. They obeyed and covered their noses.
"Okay, now let's get out of here" i said as i tried to teleport.
But somehow i can't. I can't use my teleportation to get out of here. So i tried my best to carry them as best as i can. One of them is on my right arm and another in the other, the last child is on my back. we made our way to the route that i use when i enter the building. i ran to the stairs but it's now blocked by wood and fire. i turned to my right to look for any possible exit. NONE.
i got to use my powers. come on concentrate . i let it a deep shakey breath. thenn one of the kids spoke.
"are we going to die?" the boy asked as cried
"no, what are you saying. of course we're gonna live" i tried my best not to panic.
"then why are we not escaping?" he asked
"i'm thinking of a plan. can you three keep a secret?" i asked the kid as i put them down.
"of course we can" the girl said
"well i'm a superhero or it's what my friend spider man says." trying my best to stay positive
"so you're gonna save us" the other girl said
"yes, so can you three introduce yourself?" i asked trying to distract the kids.
"i'm Adelia ,she's Skylar , and he's Calvin " Adelia said
"so , i'm gonna get us out of here just stay calm and think of a way we can escape" i said
"we can go to the fire exit but it's all the way to the other side of this building" Calvin said
"good idea so all you have to do is stay near me and hold tight to each other. don't worry i'll hold into you three" i said
we grabbed each others hands and slowly walk to the other side of the building. we past by a window and i heard shouting. while we are walking a piece of the ceiling fell infront of us.they screamed as i pull them to me. we made our way back t the window we passed. i broke it and waved my hand so Peter can help us get out of here. He took Adelia and put her down to the ground with her family. Next one is Skylar, the two girls are now safe with their family. When it's down with Calvin , the flooring gave up leading us dangling from the 4th floor of the apartment building. I use all that i can to step on a ledge pulling Calvin with ,in my arm.
"Go! Save yourself ! We'll find a way to get out of here!" I yelled at Peter.
"I can't leave you two here! This place is going to explode! Come on!" He yelled back as he tried to web us
"I'm out of web! Don't worry i'm coming in!" He yelled again.
"Go!!" i yelled as the building explode...
Peter's POV
I was thrown in the air as the building exploded, glitch and he young boy are still in there. Tears are soaking my mask as i cried. the parent of the boy cried harder together with i assume their daughter. i was pulled back by paramedics but i struggle against their grip.
"i need to get in there!" i yelled as i broke away with their grip
"sir, it's not safe in there. the fire department are dealing with the situation right" he siad
"no! i need to go after her!" i yelled as i cried under my mask
"this is impossible" one of the fire fighter said in disbelief
"they are alive!!!" one of the fire fighter said
"what?" i asked my self
"this can't be happening" i said as i saw Glitch and the little boy in her arms.
the fire fighters helped the child and Glitch is guided to the rescuers' truck . As far as i can see the young boy just have a couple scratches and she is not that injured . I ran to her as she is sat on a truck's open backside . I hold her hand and smiled weakly under the mask. She smiled back as if she saw me smile to her. She held my hand and we are teleported to my apartment...
There's something that 's in my mind...
Why didn't she use her super powers when she need them. She can just teleport them out and nothing will happened that bad...
Maybe there's something wrong...
