Wrong Number// Jack Avery

The accident

*Jack's POV*
"Jack I believe you. I do. I believe you did the right thing but I need some time to think." She said crying. "Don't cry. I still love you. I always have and I always will Layla. She meant nothing to me. I promise you I used protection. I don't even know why I did what I did. I was stupid and I regret every bit of it." I said hugging her tightly. she pulled back and smiled at me before walking into the house again. I'll find a way to get her to love me like before. I know! Her favorite singer is having a concert in LA soon and I'll get her tickets! I run inside and get the only one that doesn't for sure hate me "hey Zach can I talk to you really quick?" I ask "yeah sure man" he said and walks outside. I walk behind him and shut the door. "I want to get Layla tickets for her favorite singer. I'm going to give it to her in a few days so I need you to talk her into doing something with me." I say. "Okay I'll help you bro but you better not fuck up again." He threatened. "I can promise you that I won't." I said before smiling him. "Where did Layla even go." I ask "I don't know. She got in her car and left." He said before shrugging.

It's been 2 hours since Layla left and we are all worried about her. Jonah got a call and we all jumped at the sound of it. He quickly grabbed it not even looking at the caller I.D.

*Jonah's POV*
My phone rang and I picked it up not even seeing who it was. "Hello" I say "Hi, is this Jonah Marais?" The person asked. "Yes it is" I say sounding scared. What happened. "Your friend Layla Cooper has been in a severe car accident and she's in the hospital right now. You was on her emergency contact so we suggest you get here soon." The person said "alright. I'll be there" I say hanging up. All the boys ask me all kinds of questions "Layla... Hospital.... now." I say in between sobs. I grab my coat and run to the car with all of the boys following me.

We get to the hospital and run inside "I need to see Layla Cooper." I say in a hurry "she can only have close family right now sir." The stupid nurse said "someone called me and said I needed to be here. So I'm going in that room. What number is it" I ask. "Room 179 sir." The nurse says before looking away. I grab Corbyn and we run down the hall. Jack, Zach and Daniel stays behind because they know that me and Corbyn are her best friends. We walked into her room and I break out into tears once again. I can't stand seeing her hooked to the machines. The doctor looked our way "ah, you must be Jonah" he says "Yeah it is and I'm Corbyn" Corbyn said because I couldn't speak. "She should be awake soon. She has a broken leg and a slight concussion. She lost a good amount of blood but we fixed it up. The other person was later named and I think they said her name was Taylor? We think she did it on purpose" he said "Taylor? Of course she did it on purpose! She's psycho!" Corbyn yelled. The doctor looked at him "calm down, I'm sure your girlfriend will be just fine" "she's not my girlfriend. That's my best friend laying in that bed. The girl who did this to her was Layla's ex boyfriend 'girlfriend' she threatened jack and said if he didn't date her then she would hurt Layla." Corbyn ranted "and that's exactly what fucking happened." I yell before storming out of the room and down the hallway. "Zach, you can go see her." I say before sitting down grumpily. He gets up and walks to Layla's room. "This is all Taylor's fault you know." I say quietly. "What do you mean" jack whispered. "Taylor wrecked into Layla on purpose." I say back. "Why?" Daniel asked. "I guess she knew jack would tell someone so she went on and hurt Layla even though Jack wasn't with her anymore." As I said that Jack stood up and walked away.

*Jack's POV*
It's all my fault. It's my fault she's in here. It's my fault she's hurt. When Jonah said that I just got up and walked away. I sat down in the hallway with my head in my hands. I heard footsteps coming down the hallway but I didn't look up I just sat there and cried.  Suddenly the footsteps stop, and the person sits beside me. I look up and see Corbyn "hey man, she's not up yet but everyone thinks you should go in the and see her." He said "should I?" I ask "yes. If she wakes up let someone know." He said before helping me get up. I thank him before heading to her room. I walk in there and my heart breaks into pieces. There laid the love of my life, hooked up to a bunch of machines, my heart hurts. I should've never talked to Taylor. "Hey princess, I know I fucked up and it'll never happen again. I should've never talked to Taylor. It's my fault you are in here. This breaks my heart I just hope you wake up soon because I have some news. But I love you and I hope you know this." I say crying. I held her hand and laid my head on the bed beside her and I just cried. Eventually I fell asleep.

I felt a light squeeze on my hand and my head shot up. "J-jack?" She asked "yes it's me" I say smiling at her "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left the house." She whispers "no no, do not blame yourself for this. It's Taylor's fault and we will make her pay." I say grabbing her hand. "I do love you Jack" she said holding onto my hand "I love you too. You know this" I say back "I forgive you Jack. I want to be with you" she says smiling at me "I won't let you down. No matter what happens nothing will come between us" I say smiling "promise?" She asks "promise" I say back. I lost go of her hand and go to get the doctor. He walked in and talked to her while I went to get the guys. I ran down the hallway to the waiting room and all the guys looked up at me. "She's awake" I cry with happiness. "What happened" Zach asked. "She woke up and we talked" I said smiling. One by one we all walked into her room to see her smiling. The doctor asked to talk to me in private "she's doing great but we are going to keep her overnight again just to make sure. One person can stay with her. I will let her decide who." He says "thank you doctor" I say before walking back into her room. I sit beside her and smile "the doctor said you had to stay over night again just to be sure and you can have one person stay with you tonight." I say "will you stay?" She asked "me?" I ask "yeah." She says. "Of course I will." I smile "well we are going to go home and take showers and stuff. We will pack you a bag for when you come home tomorrow" Jonah said "see you tomorrow" the other boys say in sync. She says bye as they walk out. "Can you cuddle with me?" She asks "are you sure" I ask "yes Jack" she smiles "okay I will" I smile before laying down beside her. "Goodnight Jack" she said "goodnight princess" I say before falling asleep myself. I'm so glad she forgave me. Now, to get those tickets.
