~ Reader's POV ~

I awoke to hushed arguing in the corner of the garage. I opened my eyes slowly, peeking curiously over the back of the chair, spotting Marcus and Wrench leaning against his workbench.

Marcus was facing my direction; his brows were furrowed in annoyance and his lips in a tight line, quickly shaking his head as Wrench threw his arms up. I could tell that Wrench was angry and was trying his hardest to keep quiet. I smiled only on the inside, due to the seemingly heavy gravity of the situation, and swung my legs back onto the floor, rubbing out the kink in my neck and grinning at the blanket, I'm guessing Wrench, had put over me.

"What's going on, ladies?" I mumbled tiredly, pulling myself up and wandering over to the two.

"Good morning." Marcus nodded.

"Hey babe- I-I mean...(Y/n)." Wrench stuttered, his mask flashing (o O). I giggled softly, wrapping my arms around him in a side hug,

"I don't mind, you know."

I frowned when I felt how tense he was and when he wrapped one of his arms around me in return, I could basically feel the stress pushing the blood through his veins.

"What's going on?" I asked again, although the light-heartedness was gone and I felt my own brows furrow in worry.

"It's the car." Marcus began, shifting nervously.

"The car?" I questioned, tilting my head in thought.

"The Furnari." Wrench spoke up, his voice was void of emotion and it scared me a little.

"Nemec's Furnari? The one we installed all that tech on last December?"

They both nodded,

"Something came up." Marcus explained, pulling out his laptop and setting it up next to me. I let go of Wrench and walked over to the table, an audio file was pulled up on the screen and with a sigh; he pressed play.

"You have to shut them down, Dusan. This has gone on for far too long!" An angry female voice shouted through the speakers, recognizably Mary Catskill, the CEO of the company, !Nvite.

"What do you expect me to do, Mary? We have absolutely no information on any of the members except for two of them. How can we end an operation of this scale without even knowing who holds the cards?" Dusan shouted back, voice rising with each sentence.

"That's where you're wrong..." Mary trailed off, followed by the shuffling of paper, and I felt my heart sink, "Sitara Dhawan, Josh Sauchak and (Y/n) (L/n), all main members of Dedsec. We've acquired not only their names, but private information, as well as some on the other three we already knew."

Dusan hummed, intrigued, and the blood drained from my face.

"All that's left, is for you to pick up the hard drive and take it from there. Putting the coordinates on your map now."

And then Marcus turned it off. I stared at the screen, feeling so many emotions bubble up into my stomach at once, anger, misery, annoyance and stress.

"We need to get that hard drive." I stated blankly.

"Yeah, but who even knows where it is now? It could already be deep into Blume's asshole for all we know." Wrench said, turning his back on us and pacing anxiously.

"Let's regroup with Sitara, Josh and Ray and figure out a plan." I said, grabbing my jacket from the coat rack near the door and slipping it on quickly. I looked over my shoulder and saw Wrench and Marcus watching me with surprised expressions.
