Stuck With Robots - BTS Fanfic

Chapter 5

Once back at home, after letting Bella do her business of course, Yejin wanders her house twirling a bronze key in her hand. The key was suppose to unlock a hidden room where the robots were kept, but did Yejin really want to be watched by some robots? She could spend the entire three months by herself and Bella! But then again, would breaking her parents' trust be worth three months of 'freedom'?

Suddenly, Bella tackles Yejin at the speed of light, knocking her onto the couch. Yejin flips onto her back and holds Bella up in the air.

"Oh what to do dear Bella Wella Woo?" Yejin asks her dog in a high pitched voice. Bella just cocked her head to the side in reply. Sighing with the lack of response, Yejin puts her dog down. Standing up and stretching, Yejin then proceeds head up to her parents' room.

"I bet the key opens something in their room. I mean, stereotypical hidden rooms are either in the basement or the master bedroom no...? Actually it could be in the library too... or even my room! Aaaah, where to start..." Yejin ponders as she makes her way up the stairs and into her parents' room. Bella barks behind you and zooms into the room. 

"Wait Bella! Where're you going?" Yejin yelps in surprise and runs in after her dog. She finds her dog aggressively sniffing at the closet. Curiously, Yejin opens the closet... but all she saw were mounds of clothing. Then Bella leaps into the abyss of clothing.

"Bella! Come back!" Yejin calls out, but when her dog doesn't return she sighs. "Please tell me this will be something like Narnia." she prays, before stepping into the closet herself. 

Wading through the mounds of clothing, Yejin feels a tug in her leg. She yelps in surprise but calms down after realizing that it's just Bella.

"Oh my gosh Bella. You scared me... Don't run off like that ever again okay?" she scolds the dog, who just looks up at her with puppy eyes. Bella then turns around and paws at the wall of the closet. 

"Who knew my parents' had this large of a closet... Wait, what's wrong with the wall Bella?" Yejin asks. Bella grunts in frustration. Yejin looks at the wall with curiosity, and that's when she notices it. A small key hole placed at the bottom right of the wall. 

"Do you think the key belongs there?" Yejin asks her dog and Bella lets out a happy bark. Crouching down, Yejin slowly brings the key closer to the hole.

But her thoughts were cut short with an impatient bark from the canine beside her.

"Alright, alright. I get it." Yejin mutters under breath. 

Placing the key into the hole, she turns it slowly. Suddenly, there was a click. Yejin was low-key expecting some sort of awesome rumbling entrance, but the only thing that happened was that the wall split in two like two doors opening. 

"So much for the cool entrance that I was hoping for..." Yejin sighs. She then picks Bella up in her arms. "I can't have you running off anymore, so you're sticking with me." Yejin tells her dog as they walk down a spiral of stairs.

They're surrounded by bright fluorescent lights and a light blue wallpaper that cover the walls around the spiral of stairs. The staircase itself seemed rather worn down, as if they had been climbed many times before Yejin and Bella. Though from the top, it seemed like a long way down, actually descending the stairs didn't take long. Bella was itching to break free from Yejin's arms but the girl kept a firm hug on her dog. 

After walking down the spiral staircase and a long hallway, the two came to a stop in front of a large metal door. A padlock sat on the wall next to the door.

"Don't forget, 1034." her dad said for the nth time.

Remembering the words of her father, Yejin approached the padlock. She entered each number in slowly and carefully, as if she was going to set off a bomb.

1 ........ 0 ....... 3 ........ 4 .......

Yejin slowly stepped away from the padlock and face to face with the door. The lock beeped green and the door slowly started to open. Yejin shielded her eyes from the bright light inside as the door opened.

Bella then barks, signalling to her owner that she could enter the mysterious room. Yejin opens her eyes slowly, wincing at the bright fluorescent lights. She marvels at the sight around her. The room is large and oval-like. The walls are still a light blue and there are many fluorescent lights. There are an array of star-like accessories hanging from the ceiling. 

Stepping into the room, Yejin takes into account all of the machines and computers around her. Gripping Bella in her arms, she slowly makes her way into the centre of the room. There stood seven boxes in the order of the files in her folder. Each box stood vertically in a semi-circle, they were made out of metal and each box had a plaque on them stating the name of each robot. 

In the middle of that semi-circle, there was some sort of hand scanner. 

I suppose that's to register that it's actually me and not some sort of intruder.... thought Yejin. 

She approaches the stand, adjusting so that she could hold Bella in one arm and have a free arm. Yejin gulps nervously and wipes her sweat off on her pants. 

"Are you ready Bella?" she asks her dog. Bella yips in reply. 

Yejin turns to face the stand again. She sighs, 

I'm going to have to do this sooner or later, might as well do this now.... 

Yejin places her hand on the scanner. It turns on and scans her hand several times before beeping a green light. Yejin looks up startled, the boxes clicked and the door to each of them open. 

Yejin steps back in fear and Bella growls from her arms. She can see seven silhouettes emerge from the boxes. As the fog clears, each silhouette steps down on one knee and has their right hand over their chest. 

"Hello Miss Yejin. We are your bodyguards and we're ready to serve." all seven chant in unison.
