"Always here"- Newt

You had given up.
You couldnt stand being in the glade any longer, and it was driving you insane.

You were running in the maze with Minho, you had been quiet the whole time. He didnt know you had just been touched by Gally, or that you were having memories about your parents being murdered infront of you. To everyone in the glade you looked like an innocent little mouse.

"Im sorry I cant do this."
You finally said to Minho, as you turn round and begin running as fast as you can back to the glade, where you can cry into your pillow and take away some of the pain.

"Y/N!"
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"
You hear Minho shout behind you. He was soon long gone, you didnt know if he was going back for you as you didnt look back. Tears were stinging your eyes, and you tried to wipe them away on your sleeve but they just kept dripping.

You shot through the glade, sprinting your way towards homestead. You saw boys stand up in confusion. You saw Chuck, Thomas and Newt eating food.

"Y/N?" Newt shouted, dropping his spoon in his soup. He saw your tears.

You didnt look back as you made your way into homestead and slammed the door to your room shut.

You curled up into your blankets and buried your head into your pillow. The tears were flooding down your face, soaking your top. You probably would have stayed there sobbing for weeks, until you heard muffled voices outside the door.

"Did you see her go in there?"
It was Chuck.

"Yes, you can also hear her crying from miles away."
Clearly Thomas.

"Shut up Tommy."
Newt.

Your eyes widened when you heard his voice.

"Someone should go in."

"I cant deal with stupid girls and there hormones."

"Fine ill bloody go in them. You too get lost."

You buried your head deeper in your pillow when you heard footsteps walking away.

"Y/n, im coming in."

Newt said softly. The truth is you could use a hug from him.
The door creaked open and Newt sat down on the floor next to your mattress.

You turned your head in embarrassment.

"Love whats wrong?" He asked, placing his warm hand on your shoulder. It gave you goosebumps.

"You can tell me anything." He said, squeezing your shoulder.

You turn around to see his glowing eyes and a sweet smile, and you pull him into a hug.
Tears drop onto Newts back as you refuse to let go. He makes you feel safe.

When you eventually let go he places a hand on your cheek.
"Tell me whats bothering your love."
He whispers.

You explain to him just barely through tears about Gally, and your parents.

Newt lifts you onto his lap, cradling you in his arms. He wraps his arm around your waist and kisses your forehead.

"Im always here if you need to talk y/n. Dont be afraid to tell me things." He says, wiping your tears away.

You bury your head into his chest.
"I love you so much Newt." You whisper.
