30: The "Wedding"

"You look splendid." You smiled at Lucifer while you held his hands. Jenny was the "officiator" of the ceremony, and she stood in front of you both.

The throne room had been dressed up spectacularly, with flowers shaped like rocks and adorned with all types of jewels. There was a massive turn out of demons who sat on make-shift benches, waiting quietly for the awkward ceremony to start.

And awkward it was; since it wasn't a ceremony under God's eyes, a lot of things had to be modified. In fact, it was more of a commitment ceremony than anything. And you weren't exactly excited for what Lucifer was going to say, sure that some of it would be invasive. But nevertheless, you got to wear a crown on your head and have a special day for you. And best of all, you wouldn't be having a child out of wedlock.

"You are absolutely stunning. A rose among dirt." Lucifer stroked the flowers that you had sprouted in your hair.

"Let us begin." Jenny's voice rang out, despite her mouth not moving. "Our king and master has decided to dedicate his body and his life to this half-demon. Let us hear their vows and then enjoy a party like none other."

I'm sure it's just going to be an orgy... Every time I see a demon, it's fornicating. Your nose twisted in response. You understood why they did it, you simply didn't want to watch.

"I dedicate my body and my attention to this being before me." Lucifer began, voice ringing out authoritatively. "She has stolen my heart and enchanted my brain and I hope to reproduce with her many, many times. I shall reserve my affections for her and her alone. I declare this in front of my subjects so to be held accountable and responsible. And as my dearest YN and I continue to attempt procreation, we also announce that we shall be taking and raising the egg that is in possession of the demon Sirene. They shall be raised as Jenny's equal and as our first child."

It felt odd for him to announce this now, but you figured it would be best to simply let everyone know now, rather than gather them up again.

"And now for the half-demon's declaration." Jenny pushed you to begin.

"I was always enchanted by the man who goes by many names. Hades, Satan, Lucifer... It didn't matter to me. He was beautiful and intelligent and caring. Despite his tough interior. And now that I have no one left for me, I've chosen to accept my life as a demon and live it how I would like. How I would like to enjoy my demon life is by Lucifer's side. I dedicate my soul to Lucifer and children I shall give him. Love, I shall give him. And partnership, I shall give him."

Short and sweet, you felt satisfied with the vows. But what was the most satisfying was the kiss that sealed it all.
