Chapter 16

Here it is....

The evening was filled with rain. The reason why we couldn't meet.

Xing's POV:

"Ah, this is our 1st day in relationship and I am not able to see her due to this rain", I grumble.

"Yi Fan, Is Bianca coming or not?",my mother asked.

"It's raining mom, maybe tomorrow." , was all I replied.

"Ok then how about lunch tomorrow, ask Quiyue and Bianca", mom says.

"Ok mom. Let me text her." I said.

MY POV:

It's 7 30 pm and still raining. Ah, no date on our 1st day. Gosh, I miss Xing.

Kiwi was teasing me all along seeing my dull look. Aish this girl. hehehe

Just then, *beep* ."Sweetheart, since we couldn't meet today, my mom is asking you and Quiyue to come over for lunch." 

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I panicked in silent mode. At that very moment, Kiwi's mom called us downstairs for dinner.

We ate our fill and I whispered to Kiwi about tomorrow's deal and she told her mom that we will be having lunch at Mrs. Wu's house. She suspected. hehehehe Now is not the right time to tell her though. *winks* 

We went back to the bedroom and started screening through our luggage to find anything suitable to wear. Kiwi was teasing me all along about how I was going to meet my in-laws. hahha crazy girl...

Finally I liked a dress. I picked a navy blue floral short sleeve maxi dress as it was summer and unbearable heat and yet decent enough to be in front of elders

"Ok we will be there :) ^^", I replied.

After that we just slept off. Got up at 7 in the morning. Had a full breakfast and then took proper shower. It was 11 when I got a call from Xing.

"Hey Babe, you remember, right?" Xing asked.

"I do. So, hang up the phone so that I can be ready :D", I said.

He giggled and then hung up the phone.

Kiwi was also on her way to get ready. She chose gto wear shorts and a cute pink tank top that I gifted her.

I suggested Kiwi that we buy some flowers for Mrs. Wu. So, we bought a huge bouquet and set on our way to Xing's house.
