THE PRIZE

(EXO Kyungsoo Imagine)

"Hello babe! I ace the test!" Kyungsoo said excitingly over the phone.

"Wow that's great! Congratulations! I am happy for you. Make sure you will come over here to claim your prize okay?" You replied teasingly.

Kyungsoo felt his cheeks burning upon hearing you said the prize. He admit, he was so so excited about it. It was one of the reason why he worked hard just to ace his test in Physics.

"Hey Kyungsoo are you still there?" You asked.

Kyungsoo shook his head. He was being daze out just merely imagining you giving his prize. Silly Kyungsoo! You are thinking like you are a perv!

"Ah yes I am still here. Sorry I am driving on your way to your apartment now." He replied.

"Okay. I'll see you later then. I am cooking dinner for us by the way. I am telling you, you will taste the best prize ever!" You exclaimed as you then hung up the phone.

"What?" Kyungsoo blurted in confusion. I thought I was getting a kiss as a prize? So it was just a dinner?

He felt disappointed. He was expecting that you will gave him a kiss as a prize since that was your promise to him.

He parked his car and grabbed the bouquet of red roses he bought. He made sure to dropped by first at the flower shop before he head to your place.

He was smiling as he was examining the bouquet of roses in his hands. If she truly forgot about my prize then maybe I can still have it because of this flowers.

Kyungsoo knocked at your door thrice and as it opened, your eyes sparkled at the sight of the flowers.

"Hello babe! For you!" He said as he handed to you the bouquet.

"Thank you!" You exclaimed as you reached for the bouquet and smelled the roses.

Kyungsoo was there watching you. Seriously, just a thank you? No kiss?

"This is so beautiful Kyungsoo. Come in. I already set the table. I am pretty sure you are hungry." You said as you tagged him along with you to the dining table.

Kyungsoo was surprised because there were a lot of foods prepared at the table. He was glad that you made such effort. I guess this is not bad for a prize.

You let him sat on the chair as you serve him some spaghetti on his plate. Kyungsoo smiled with the special treatment you are giving him now.

You pulled the chair beside him and settled. "Dig in!"

Kyungsoo nodded as he started eating while you were just there watching him.

"Aren't you gonna join me?" Kyungsoo offered as he observed that you were not eating.

"Later. Wait come closer here babe." You said as you held his chin.

Kyungsoo put down his fork and gulped when your face were getting closer his. So this is it? Is she gonna kiss me? Am I gonna have my prize?

He closed his eyes and wait for your lips to touch his.

"Babe, you have a smudge of sauce on the corner of your lips." You said as you wiped the sauce with a napkin.

Kyungsoo opened his eyes and frown. I thought that was it.

Then he resume eating but then you notice that he seemed to be not enjoying his food already.

"Hey babe, don't you like the food? I'm so sorry if I am not a good cook as you are." You said as you pouted.

"Oh no! It's good Krystal. It's delicious!" Kyungsoo exclaimed.

"Good to know. I thought you don't like it." You said in relief.

You also joined him as you also began to dig in.

You were both talking with each other on how was your day while you were eating your dinner.

Afterwards, Kyungsoo helped you clean the dishes that you used.

It was already getting late in the evening so he also decided to go home.

"Bye babe! See you tomorrow." Kyungsoo said as he kissed your forehead.

"See you! Congratulations again." You replied.

"Thanks. Bye!" He said as he turned his back and started walking towards his car.

"Kyungsoo-ah! Wait!" You shouted as you rushed towards him

He looked back at you, "Wha.."

But then he wasn't able to finish his words when you just tiptoed, wrapped your arms around his neck and crushed your lips into his.

His eyes widened as your mouth claimed his.

He was not expecting this.

You slightly pulled away and smiled as you can see the shock in his eyes.

"You forgot to claim your prize babe." You whispered.

"I thought..." But then he wasn't able to finish again his words when you started kissing him again.

Kyungsoo then just closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around your waist. She did not forget it.
