Wishes On A Star
Wishes on a star
To you, may seem bizarre
So mysterious, and off all charts
Kisses, only go so far
When you try, to reach through the dark
And sometimes these make perfect targets; hearts
Places, maybe Mars
Bright, against a canvas of black tar
So far from the sound of people and car
Miss has, won my heart
This is, how it all starts
A kiss from you and I fall apart
Thoughtless, lost in a lover's mart
Fishing, for me? 'Cause you've left your mark
When I'm by you, I'm drunk, no need for a bar
To you, I may seem bizarre
When I want to escape; Saturn, Mars
I made a wish on a star
And this Miss has my heart
