Adelaide

No. No. Please no. Don’t say the words. Please don’t.

“I Trenton Lays, reject you-“ In pure panic, I threw my hand over his mouth so he wouldn’t say those words.

“Please! Please don’t reject me! You can do what ever you want to, just don reject me. Ignore me, keep fool around, mate with another girl, but what ever you do, DON’T reject me! Please, I beg you.” I pleaded with tears streaming down my face. I can’t die. Not today. Before I can die, I need my revenge.

“Are you an idiot?!” he asked harshly.

“Well, if me wanting you not to reject me make me an idiot then yes, I am an idiot.” I quietly said, tears still streaming down my cheeks.

“But why? Why would you ever want to do anything like that? To feel pain whenever I sleep with someone? Why?”

“Well, why don’t we turn it around? Why do you reject me?”

“Because I can’t have a human Luna!”

“HALF human… I am only HALF human…”

“Yeah, and half FALLEN angel.” He smirked.

He was right, but please don’t… He sucked in a breath.

“I Trenton Lays, reject you, Adelaide Texas as my-“

“NO!” I screamed.

“What is your problem?! Why wont you just let me reject you?”

“Because I don’t want to die! I can’t die, not yet…” My tears were falling like a waterfall down my cheeks and I am sure my make up is ruined. “I can’t die… Not yet…” I fell down to the ground. I couldn’t stand anymore. “Not now. Not today. I cannot die today.” And everything went black.

Trenton

When she got into the car, I turned my head so I could look at the girl with the most amazing scent. The girl I’ve lost hope on meeting. My mate.

When I was on my way to talk she stopped me and asked if we could talk later.

When we got to the restaurant we got showed to our table. When the girl from yesterday came up, I saw hurt flash through her eyes.

“Um, excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom.” She said.

“Me too.”

My mother asked what we wanted to eat; funny thing is that we wanted the same thing, Pasta Bolognese. Adelaide hurried towards the bathroom. She’s not gonna run from us. I got to her just in time.

“Adelaide, I can’t believe you are my mate. Aren’t you like half human?”

“Yes. I am.” She looked down on the ground.

“Shit, a human can’t be Luna… This gets complicated. I’m sorry for this, but I have to reject you.”

“I Trenton Lays, reject you-“ Before I could end my sentence, her hand covered my mouth.

“Please! Please don’t reject me! You can do what ever you want to, just don reject me. Ignore me, keep fool around, mate with another girl, but what ever you do, DON’T reject me! Please, I beg you.” She pleaded, tears running down her face.
