People ask how I am
So I say fine
But I begin to wonder
What am I feeling
How do I decipher my inner emotions
When I'm conflicted and pulled at every which way
So how do I explain
The force crushing my mangled heart
The confusion caused by loss
The grieving of someone
Unworthy of my pain
Yet along with pain there is fury
For not being strong
For being unable to control the sadness
Within every part of the soul
Numerous negative thoughts
swarm my mind
Numbing every move I make
So how can I determine how I feel
When every emotion imaginable
Is striking
Leaving me unemotional in its wake
