Chapter 7 - For Love

Today is the day.

The day I have to fight for Winter's hand in marriage.

I know that this isn't going to be easy by a long shot, Jacques seemed insistent on me not marrying his daughter, so these fighters will be strong.

I gripped the ring box in my hand, I'd taken the ring back off of Winter that night, I wanted to re-propose when I won.

Or at least, hopefully did.

I placed the box into shorts pocket and stared at the arena, the same place I had fought Winter for the first time.

I wore a simply combat outfit of shorts and a T-shirt, I felt like being agile would be more beneficial then being covered in armour.

I created a pistol and shot in at the ceiling to get everyone's attention.

This scene had drawn quite the audience, almost all of Atlas and a few other family's, that all wanted Winter's hand in marriage, stood ready for these few fights.

"Welcome, here today I will prove my love for Winter Schnee by defeating whomever her father sends at me." I took a deep breath and looked at the man who would deside.

"The rules are as followed, I have enlisted the help of three of the greatest fighters in Remnant, you will fight them each, the first one to be unable to fight, or in the judges decision would've been killed by a certain move, will lose. You will get a 15 minute break inbetween each fight. Do you agree to the rules, Luke Terkovich?"

Everyone in the room gasped as they heard my true name, especially Ironwood who almost looked like he was going to cry.

"Yes, I, Y/N L/N, or as most of you know me as Luke Terkovich, accept the rules of this fight."

The arena formed into a mountain range, with very hilly terrain and a few random houses spread around for shelter from fire. I suppose that's directed for others more than myself.

My first challenger entered the arena and I simply viewed him from a distance, he was tall, and he looked familiar...

"Ozpin!?!" I shouted and the man looked at me with a smile.

The bitch has gotten Ozpin to fight me.

I took out a pistol and shot randomly towards him, and as if he saw the bullet line in slow motion, he side stepped perfectly.

"You have to be fucking kidding me." I muttered and the fight had already begun.

The Head of Beacon slowly walked towards me whilst swinging his cane/walking stick around.

I created a sniper and took aim, I had to take this guy out before he got close to me.

Professor Ozpin is arguably the strongest person in the entirety of Remnant, except for the Maidens obviously.

As soon as I pulled the trigger to shoot he jumped upwards and started to sprint towards me.

He dodged my bullet perfectly.

"Wait, hold on." I waved my hands in the air and dropped my weapon onto the floor.

Ozpin stopped running as he reached within 15 yards of me.

I pulled out a pistol within seconds and shot at the man stood before me.

The bullet traveled straight through him.

"I knew it. No one can dodge a bullet at that range, not even Ozpin."

The Hologram laughed and disappeared instantly.
