Allie's POV- Age 4 (Jack is 5)

"That's so unfair!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Enough!" me and Jack look at each other in fear as his dad yells for us to stop bickering. I just don't see how hiding in a car counts during hide and seek! "Now Jack, the rules were, as I recall, outside hiding spots only; spots where you can't lock the door to hide."

I look over and see Jack with a huge grin across his toothless mouth. His cheeks are chubby and his nose is scrunched up, along with his bushy eyebrows, from the smiling.

"Sorry daddy. Sorry Allie." he apologizes, crossing his arms behind him. I quickly run up to him, throwing my arms around his neck.

"It's okay, Jack. We can still be friends." I smile, kissing his cheek. He grins, returning my hug with a bigger, squeezier one.

-Age 12 (Jack is 13)

"Alright....Jack! I dare you to, hmm, kiss Allie." my older, adopted brother, Grady says, a clear smirk present on his face.

"Grady, no!" I quickly protest, shaking my head.

"Oh come on, Allie, don't be such a prude." Jack laughs, bumping me with his shoulder. "It's not like we haven't kissed before."

"Yeah, when we were five, Gilinsky." I roll my eyes. Jack tilts his head, giving me a look that might as well shout 'I know you want to, Alyson.' So I agreed.

"Fine, just one quick kiss."

Jack smiles and starts leaning in. It's a quick peck, but not too short that I can't feel a little pimple near his lower lip. Jack never really gets acne, but I guess at the age of thirteen, puberty hits. Grady 'oohs' as me and Jack return to our normal sitting positions.

"Sorry to interupt, but we have to go. Come on, Grady, Alyson." mom comes out, our suitcases in her and dads hands. I can't tell whether or not she had witnessed my little lip lock, but she seems nonchalant. I groan, standing up along with Grady and Jack. We walk to my parent's car, placing our bags in the trunk.

"Bye kids!" Jack's mom waves, along with his Dad. Me and Grady wave back, smiling.

"See you, dude." Grady fist bumps Jack before getting in the car.

"Later, Gilinsky." I smile, about to get into the car.

"What, no kiss?" he smirks, stopping me from entering my nicely air conditioned car.

"Tell you what, i'll hug you, then leave, okay?"

He nodds, the smirk still present on his face. He wraps his arms around my waist as I hang onto his neck. He was obviously taller than me, considering I was about a year younger than him; making me 12; but he was always tall. I wave when we release, finally entering my car. I roll down my window, speaking to Jack once more before leaving.

"Say hi to Molly and Laura for me." I smile. Those are his sisters who were away for spring vacation in New York while we came here.

"Will do." he says before my dad starts driving away, honking at the Gilinsky family.

-Age 16 (Jack is...you guessed it! 17)

"Are we there yet?"

"How much longer?"

"HELP ME!!!"

"Hahah, did you see this vine?"

"I SAID HELP MEEEEE!"
