POV Lorian

It was midday. My mother and I decided to make the chocolate cake we always like to make together.

My brown hair was bunched in a bun, and the combination of my tanned skin with the blue apron wasn't successful.

My mother read the recipe again, to make sure we had everything.

I was responsible for the mixture of the cake itself and my mother on the coating. I always enjoyed these moments of mine and my mother together.

She works all week long, and even if she is on vacation she is exhausted and doesn't have the strength to do too much. I think it was my father's death that brought us closer.

I used to be less close to her, both of them. I didn't appreciate them enough, but I do everything in my power to fix it.

My mother is the one who matters to her, so I try to keep my room tidy, even though it's sometimes hard, especially when I come home late from school, adding flour and sugar to the mixture and mixing it all together.

When I finished my mixture with a little help, we put the mixture in the pan and put it in the oven; all we have left now is to wait.

We sat in a corner on the sofa in the living room and put on a random program on television.

"So how does the decoration committee go?" She asked me.

"We'll probably finish the truth tomorrow," I said with a smile. I volunteer every year on the school's decoration committee because I like to offer new ideas.

"We planned to do a ball about romantic films, we would spread the whole hall with roses, anemones and tulips" I finished with a huge smile on my face.

I like to talk about things I love, I generally like to talk a lot, and I'm a chatty person so I can talk for hours.

The beep of the stove interrupted his conversation and we headed for the kitchen. My mother let me rub the chocolate on the cake and was glad to do so.

Then each of us cut a decent slice. Although I have eaten a cake like this many times, it tastes good every time. When we finished eating, I went up to the roof of our building.

This roof isn't just another 'building roof', but a 'greenhouse.' It is blown with plants, and I as a nature-loving person do not complain.

I like to see and smell the different flowers and plants. I like to just lie on the ground with nothing to do, really connect with nature up close.

I passed by the various plants, stroked some leaves, flipped through plants and flowers until I felt a little itching in my hands. I didn't flinch, that sting was pleasant, in a very odd way.

I wanted to feel more of him. I went closer to the plants and then, I felt the vibration all over my arm, then my neck, chest, and so on all over my body.

My body was like a source of energy, as if the radioactive matter were flowing in it, a loose wild animal doing its will.

I let the energy do its way, without feeling or even being aware of it, the roof of my building turned into a rain forest.

There were leaves, thorns, branches, and every odd thing of plants that curled and bumped into each other. I stood motionless. What did I do?

I stared in panic and confusion at a roof that was no longer a roof. I barely noticed my neighbor, who was walking toward the roof, he cursed and walked away.

In the end, after a long time, I left and went back home.

I don't know how it happened or what it meant, but it was something ... unusual.
