Before Thaddeus guided me to the Cadrate – whatever that is – he offered me a tour around the entire Seltris Academy.

Thaddeus' office was in the Second Floor. The Second Floor was where the staff quarters are, along with other classrooms.

We went above to the Third Floor, which seized a miniature museum where you can find innumerable information about the history of Starseeds; the artefacts and the replicas of many things were mesmerizing without any doubt.

Next to the Mini Museum was a much more ostentatious room with an immeasurable space. The floor was granite. The vaulted-glass ceiling exposed the celestial, superlative skies of Eskor. And the walls had writings. The writings were names. Names of all the former students in the Academy.

"This is called the Hall of Graduates," Thaddeus enlightened. "Every year, when the Starseeds graduate at the age of eighteen, you will come here and write your name in the way The Father will write your name in the Book of Life. You will write your names next to your relatives."

I spotted a name written somewhere amongst the sea of handwritten names. Marina Lihini Chandrasiri. Right next to my mother's name, was my father's: Christian Jeremiah Lordaire. And below that, were other names I recognise: Davis Scott Lordaire, Dhalia Colette Lordaire, and Melody Sadali Chandrasiri and Amethyst Wayuni Chandrasiri.

Aunty Dahlia. Dad's sister. She's the oldest in the family. Davis is the second oldest. Leaving Dad as the youngest. Only two years apart from each other. I have heard of Aunty Dahlia, but I've never seen her before. Mom said she came for my Baptism. That's it. On the other hand, I met Mom's two sisters, Melody and Amethyst. The last time I saw them was when I was six. That's it.

Dad's side of the family are British. Mom's side of the family, however, are a mixture of Italians, Spanish and Sri Lankans. Aachchi (grandmother in Sinhala) is fully Sri Lankan, while Ceeya (grandfather in Sinhala) is half Italian and Spanish. Ceeya cheated on Aachchi. Maybe that's why I can't find Ceeya's name near Mom's.

"Is that your mommy?" Kade asked me.

"Yeah," I said, smiling sadly.

"Where is she now?"

"I don't know."

"Oh. Our mommy was murdered –"

"Kade," Thaddeus said, his tone implying to him to discontinue.

"I'm sorry," I said, squatting to my knees in front of him and his twin sister.

Olivia smiled. "It's okay. Mommy is with Daddy in Heaven. With Jesus. I'm happy she's in Heaven. Earth is evil."
