Joe stood outside breathing he didn't want to go in just yet. He loved being outside at this hour there wasn't much noise, and it wasn't so cold or so hot. He could feel the autumn trying to come in. After another 10 minutes he made his way upstairs Demi never leaving his mind. He unlocked the door and realized Nick didn't turn off the lights when he left. Je closed the door behind him and laid on it, he shut his eyes and moments from earlier invaded his memories. he never imagined the dark could be so comforting.

"How bad is it?" Nick said from the kitchen island.

"You motherfucker" Joe yelled, he never imagined him still being there. "You fucking nearly gave me a heart attack "

"Sorry, I shouldn't have sneaked up on you." Nick admitted

Joe Shuck his head and made his way to the kitchen and began to pour himself a drink.

"Joe..." Nick started.

"Dude. Dont.." He stated downing the drink in one gulp.

"You never drink this late." Nick pushed

"Dude." Joe said irritated and gulping down another one.

"Fine, Joe." he said walking away and leaving him alone to his thoughts.

After his fifth drink Joe barely made his way to his bed and passed out. The next morning he woke up with the biggest headache he'd ever had. This is why he gave up drinking whiskey, he was lightweight to it. he buried his face in his pillow and wanted nothing more than spend all day in bed, but he had to get up and go to work.Demi had told him that she wanted to contract the construction company today.

Joe screamed into the pillow as he started remembering why it was that he had drunk so much last night. he was going to call Demi and tell her he was sick. No that wouldn't work, they were just together last night.

Last night.

Last night He took her out on the best dinner she had ever had. It was incredible and being with Joe just made it better.

"Joe get your shit together! She's fucking engaged!" Joe spoke to himself

But last night Demi had talked to him, and touched him, and even kiss his cheek Joe smiled remembering.

"But everyone fucking does that! Why the fuck am I over analyzing this!" Joe yelled at himself.

he got up and got dressed, he couldn't be thinking about this. It was wrong. On his way to the temp house he bought the biggest coffee and red bull he could find.

"You're late." Demi said as Joe came in the house.

"Good morning to you too?" Joe scowled

"Good afternoon Mr. Jonas."

For the first time that day Joe looked at his phone and realized it was well passed 1, he looked up at Demi apologetically.

"Demi I'm so sorry! I swear,, I'm never late, I hate being late." Joe stated

"You look like shit." Demi smiled.

"Adorable." Joe said sarcastically

"What did you do last night, I mean besides go on a date with the most awesome girl ever." Demi smirked

Joe's heart beat out of his chest when he heard Demi refer to dinner as a date. he knew she was joking but it made his heart swell.

"Well I had a date, with an awesome guy." Joe teased.

"I thought you weren't gay?" Demi asked confused

"Oh I am, his name is Jack Daniels though. I always make an exception for him." Joe winked.
