Here I am, a week later in my tour bus reading "The Fault in Our Stars". It's a really good book, it's actually interesting how a girl with cancer and a boy who experienced cancer as well can fall in love with each other. If that could happen, anything really is impossible.
Mrs.Porter called me yesterday to remind me that she would video call me today around 2, so I made sure I wasn't gonna be needed or interrupted during that time.
"Y/N come on" Brian yelled.
"What" I yelled back, but he didn't reply so I gotten up to walk in the middle room.
"What's up Dad" I asked him.
"You have things to do today, you do know you perform tonight" he said sarcastically and I mentally facepalmed myself.
"I already did soundcheck and wardrobe, all I have left is rehearsal, which I would get to later" I told him.
"Why can't you do it now" he asked.
"Mrs.Porter wants to talk to me today and I was making sure I had most stuff done before she calls" I told him.
"I forgot my bad Y/N, I just been thinking about Jasmine" Brian said sadly.
"What the doctors say" I asked him worried.
"They don't know what's wrong with her" he said sitting down on the couch and I could see little tears escaping. "Nicole been telling me on the phone, that one day our little girl is all fine, then next day she's screaming, upset, and vomiting all day"
I sat down beside him shocked about what I was hearing.
"When I'm on the phone with her and her brother and they are so happy to hear from me. She talks to me about school then Ethan talks to me about buying him new nerf guns" Brian said laughing and I laughed with him.
"I didn't know her condition was getting this far, how long long have you known for when it got worst" I asked.
"2 weeks after tour started" he told me.
"You knew for about a month and didn't tell me" I said angry.
"She's my daughter, plus I didn't want you stressed over the tour" he said.
"But you're stressed" I said.
"She's my kid" he said with his head down.
"Look if you need extra days off on break, I'll give it to you" I started. "I love you and your family and I just want you guys to be alright"
"Thanks, but I don't need extra days off" he said and I laughed.
"I really do hope everything works out, I'm gonna be here for you guys no matter what" I said.
"I love you too kiddo. Don't you have a video call to be doing" he asked and I looked at watch.
"It's only 1:04pm, I have about 40 minutes, so I'm gonna go grab a snack from the venue in the meantime" I said getting up.
"Alright, see you in a few, and don't forget your rehearsals" he said.
"I know, I'll do them around 3:30" I said as I grabbed my phone and walked off the bus into the venue.
