Camila/You Bad Romance

First Date

Camila pov:

"Mamá have you seen my light blue jeans" I yelled searching through my closet.

"No I haven't, are you going somewhere today" she asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah Y/n wants to hang out today so she's gonna pick me up later" I told her.

"Ok but come down for breakfast and you can find your pants later. Come on" she said and I followed her downstairs.

"Buenos días padre y hermana" I said to my dad and sister as I gave them a hug and sat down.

My mom gave me my plate of food and we ate as a family which I missed. We been eating for 15 minutes now and my dad spoke up.

"So honey are you seeing anyone" my dad asked me and I almost chocked.

"No papá, I don't want to see anyone after Michael" I told him.

"That's just ridiculous" he said.

"Alejandro, leave it don't you think she knows this" my mom said.

"No Sinuhe, we told her he was a bad decision, and she was still with him" my dad said.

"I'm sorry, I know I should've listened to you guys, I just I don't know" I said.

"Alejandro" my mom sternly said his name.

"I'm sorry honey, I just don't like to see you get hurt, no man wants to see his daughter treated wrong" he said. "And I know you're becoming this woman and its hard to watch my little girl grow up, but that last thing I want is for you to let any guy hurt you"

"I know and I'm learning from my mistakes, trust me" I said.

"Just promise us when the next guy you get with hurts you to tell us please or at least quickly break it off" he asked and I nodded.

"I will" I said.

"Isn't it time for someone to be heading to school" my mom said and we all looked at Sofi.

"Can I please stay and hang out with Kaki" Sofi begged.

"Sorry Sofi you can hang out with her after school" my mom said.

"Yeah Sofi we can, how about me and Y/n pick you up from school today" I asked and she cheered.

"That'll be great" she said and left to get her book bag.

"Are you sure Y/n wouldn't mind"  my dad asked and I nodded. "Alright. Sofi come on or you'll be late"

My dad and Sofi left and me and my mom were cleaning the kitchen.

"You and Y/n are pretty close" my mom said.

"Yeah we are" I said. "She's a really good person to be around"

"Did you know she has a girlfriend" she asked me.

Did Y/n tell my mom about us?

"No I didn't, how you know that" I asked curious.

"When I was talking to her outside the club she mentioned she unintentionally cheated on her girlfriend and she was a wreck over it" my mom told me. "She was telling me her girlfriend was funny, she has a pretty smile, and that she really cares for her. I'm glad her girlfriend forgave her."

I thought about my mom and Y/n talking as she was telling me what they discussed and it made me smile.

"And she told me she was meeting her girlfriends' family yesterday, but she came over with us, so you think her girlfriend would be ok she didn't show up" my mom asked.
