Chapter 1: Oh Welp

It was 7th period and Liah had Gym class. The teacher wasn't there so she hung out with her friends from her class. "Could you tie my laces for me pleeeeease?", Liah asked one of her best friend's Mag. She accepted and tied both laces for her. Moya, her other best friend came up to them and asked Liah if she wanted to go play around with her for a bit. "Of course, wait up", replied Liah.

She ran behind Moya pulling Mag behind her. "What do you want to do?", Moya asked. "I feel like laying on the floor, how about you?" Liah replied. "I wanna do the same!", Mag shouted so they laid on their backs on the floor.

They gave each other jokes and talked about stuff that happened in class this morning.

They soon got tired of just laying around so they got up and walked over to the weights. Liah was a strong girl so she could lift around 250lb.

While lifting the weights all the other children were calling her names like Hulk and Fatty but she didn't pay attention to them. She kept lifting and Mag wanted to try too. Moya just stood there looking at the both of them as if they were crazy.

After lifting weights, Mag had the idea of running to Liah and she catching her. The both of them erupted in laughter the first time it happened and they went on and on.

The last time they tried, it didn't go so well. Liah ended up falling backwards with Mag after stumbling from being frightened. She started laughing like crazy because this was a normal thing. Everyone crowded her and started laughing and pointing but because she didn't want to show her true emotions she laughed along with them.

(THE BELL RUNG FOR 8TH PERIOD)

Liah quickly scrambled to her last class as she realized that almost everyone had heard about her little mishap in Gym class. She felt embarrassed and was angry for all the stares and snickers she was getting from everyone . Liah wanted to trample the person who had let everyone know about what happened.

In class, she was told to stand because she hadn't finished her homework. Then she felt it. A sudden sharp pain in her lower back. She immediately thought it was from her hard impact with the floor in Gym class and she needed to sit down so she asked the teacher to use the bathroom.

In a lot of pain, Liah slowly walked to the bathroom wincing every now and then. When she got to the bathroom, she went into the first stall. She put the toilet lid down and sat on it.

She sat in there for awhile, depicting whether she should get out or not. "I'm just gonna stay here until class is finished", she said sighing. She waited and waited until she finally heard the bell she got out of the bathroom and took her time trying to get to class.

She got her stuff and started looking for her neighbor Jan that she normally goes home with every day but she had left before Liah could get back to class. She sighed but not too hard because she felt pain in every breath she took and released.

"What am I going to do now?", she mumbled to herself. A thought came in her head as she called her mom to come get her.

She explained everything to her mom and she was on her way to get her. Liah sat on a bench under a tree while waiting for her mom. She played a bunch of games on her phone. A loud honk frightened her. She looked up and saw her mom. Liah tried getting up and when she finally did she walked slowly to her mom's car.

"Hey mom" she said while shutting the car door. "Hey honey", her mom replied. "How are you?" she asked. "I'm just fine mom", Liah replied looking out the window. She was fascinated by the trees and how fast the passed the car.

All Liah wanted now was some sleep and that's all she did after getting home.

Getting undressed was the least of her problems as she fell into a deep sleep after jumping in bed.
