The pan was slid carefully into the oven as the hot air burned her skin. She pulled her hand away from the warmth and closed the door. Leaning over, she set the timer for twenty minutes. The radio hummed lightly in the background, playing her favorite song.

A pair of strong arms wrapped themselves around her waist. She giggled and leaned back into their embrace. The man behind her rested his chin atop her head and hugged her tighter to his chest. She exhaled deeply as the man swayed her to the beat of the music.

Suddenly she was spun around so she was facing him. She saw the smirk on his face and the mischievous glint in his eyes. She smiled back and reached her arms around his neck, getting her finger caught in his curly hair in the process.

The song ended too soon and the couple slowly parted.  The woman turned back to the counter and began to clean up the mess she had left. "Thomas, can you put this back in the fridge please?" She asked and handed him the milk jug. He took it and put it away. "Anything for you, Doll."

The woman continued to clean. She picked up all the trash and closed the bag of flour. She handed it to Thomas to put away. He came back when he was done and saw she was about to wipe down the counter.

He smirked and scooped some of the flour left over on the counter into his hands. The woman looked up at him and crossed her arms. "Go ahead... try me." She said with a smirk. The man looked at the flour in his hand then back to her. He walked over to the trash can and dumped the power in the can.

She snorted and turned away. "That's what I thought." She said as she began to wipe up the counter. She saw his phone screen light up on the counter. She almost never searched though his phone or even bothered with his text unless he was driving. But something on the screen caught her attention.

Sally: Hey Babe

She did a double take before picking up the phone and scanning it intently. "Whatcha doin', doll?" He asked as he snaked his arms around her waist. She moved out of his grasp and showed the phone to him. "What's this?" She asked and his face fell.

"I don't know who that is, (Y/N)." He told her. She looked down at the phone and put in his passcode. He moved closer to her but she gave him a look that halted him in his tracks. She clicked on the message and saw it was the only one. But he could have used the delete button.

"Then why is her name saved into your phone as one of your favorites?" (Y/N) asked. She knew her face was beginning to flush as her blood pressure rose. Thomas rubbed the back of his neck and looked off to the left, contemplating what to say next.

"I don't know who that is." He said again. "I went out drinking last night with the guys... maybe I saved her number then or something?" He asked her more than told her. She scowled and typed up a message on his phone. "Then you won't mind if I do this." She said as she hit send.

Thomas: Who is this?

Thomas bit his lip then inhaled deeply. "No. I don't mind." He said in a much calmer tone. She waited for a reply as Thomas slid his arms back around her waist as rested his chin atop her head. The woman replied back quickly.

Sally: it's your girlfriend, silly

(Y/N) went ridged and she felt Thomas do the same. She pulled out of his grasps and looked at him accusingly with tears in her eyes. He frowned and pulled the phone out of her hands. She watched as he typed up a message and sent it. He showed her the phone.
