Chapter 11- "We are"

Killua's pov:

I layed on my bed, darkness surrounding me. I don't like this darkness that surrounds my room during the night. I'm not afraid of the dark, I literally live a life full of it, but I just don't like getting reminded of that.

Man I just wanna sleep one day in my life!

Without a nightmare!

I rolled to the side and looked towards the window. I left it open to feel the little wind from outside.

As I stared at the window, I just waited. I waited for the sun to rise. A couple hours passed, maybe like 5? I was tired of waiting for the sun to rise so I just got up and left.

I need to relax

I slowly made my way to the lake in the forest, the best place for relaxation. Somthing was very calming about that place. The blue water shining at the reflection of the sun, the green grass surrounding it, and the tall trees of the forest around it. Of course, everything was dark now, but somehow it was still soothing.

What if Gon comes there?

I started freaking out as I realized how big the possibility was.

Maybe I shouldn't go there anymore?

I stopped walking for a second

No!

It's my favorite place here and no gravity defying haired boy will get in my way of enjoying it!

"Ok..."

I sat down next to the lake, readying myself. I didn't want to play BloodShed for a while because of that one game. I was scared of it. I didn't know why, but I was.

"3, 2, 1, go!"

I was in front of a burning house. I had to make sure one person in there dies, and had to rescue another, I choose who dies and who lives.

"Wait since when do I let anyone live in these?"

I jumped inside, making sure no one noticed. I look around. It wasn't big, so I could find them easily. Both of those I was chasing. One a woman and one a baby. Both were shaking in the corner, the child in his mother's hands. I walked towards them and stretched out my hand.
"I'll help you, come on"

Outside of the game, I suddenly felt a presence behind me. It was Gon..

I'll ignore him for now..

The woman stood up, using my hand for help. She took her child in her hands and walked slowly after me. I helped her go through the all the fire, falling logs, and whatever else. As I got to the door, I turned around.
"You choose. Who dies? You or your child?"
"What?"
"I'll kill one of you, and let the other live."
"Why would you?!"
"I'll give you 5 seconds to answer, then I'm killing the baby"
"5"
She didn't move
"4"
She didn't move
"3"
She didn't move
"2"
Just move dammit!
"1"
I turned my hand to a claw, sharp fingers pointed to the baby.
And just like that, I killed the baby of a very frightened woman.
"Well, there you have it. You say you would die for your children, protect them at all cost, but when the time came to do it you were too scared to die. Don't worry, you're just human, it's your nature"
I picked her up, as she was obviously not moving, her knees on the ground, shaking. I got out of the door and quickly disappeared before anyone could spot me"
