Late night calls,
Over pretty much anything.
Family, pets, friends,
School, exes and how you can't sing.

You open up to me,
The good, the bad and the scary.
Making me fall deeper and think
You're the man I want to marry.

But I'm scared.
I haven't felt in a long time.
And this time I'm slipping even faster
Into a hole with no means to climb.
~
I know you love another
Which normally scares me away.
But this time only brings me closer.
Unrequited love, so cliche.
~
I opened up last night,
Showing you that I'm not that strong.
And you said words that made me feel things,
Things I haven't felt in so long.
~
Where are we going?
What's going to happen to us?
I try, but I can't stay away,
Cuz of a heart so treasonous.
