"JUST TELL US WHO YOU ARE WORKING FOR!" Joe barged into the room and plonks himself on the wooden chair placed next to Christy. Joe was a well build man, with muscles rippling through his police uniform. His hair had been shaved off. He was clearly the brawn of the team, while Christy was the brains.

"Look, I haven't done anything. I saw a young girl come rushing out of the jewellery shop."

Christy's eyes lit up and she leaned closer. "Go on."

"She came rushing out and twisted her ankle badly on the road. She looked both ways and made eye contact with me. I could tell it was a girl because she had a long braid coming out of her hood, like Katniss Everdeen. She was quite short, but very fit and lean, I guess."

Joe looked startled. "Well, Christy found some fingerprints of some small hands on the bag, but they were smudged, so we couldn't read them."

Christy shook her head in disbelief. "Why don't you just give everything away, Joe!" she replied sarcastically.

"Well, if you really want me to, I could start off with the dead body behind the counter..."
