"Cai Xukun, I like you," you repeated.

I froze. I felt like my brain stopped malfunctioning.

"Hey, you alright?" you asked worriedly as you wave your hands in front of my face.

"H-huh? Yeah, I'm okay," I answered, stuttering a little bit.

I'm not the type of person who blushes, instead the red color climbed to my ears.

"Cute," you chuckled, clearly amused at my reaction.

I cleared my throat before regaining my composure.

"Do you really mean it?" I asked, confirming it.

"Of course you dumbass," you rolled your eyes but I caught your smile.

I can feel my palms sweat due to excitement. Nothing can describe how happy I am now. I can feel my heart racing that I thought it would pop out of my chest.

I stared right into your eyes as I leaned closer. I could see you doing the same while sneaking a glance on my lips. I smirked.

Our lips are about to meet when we both heard something not too far from us.

"Told you, he won't get rejected. Give me my twenty bucks," someone whispered.

Another person groaned in response. "Shit, they heard us!"

We both facepalmed.

"Look, whoever it is, come out already. There's no point in hiding," you said loud enough for them to hear.

People came out behind the fountain. Turns out it was Zhangjing, Wenjun and Ruibin. You rolled your eyes at them.

"Thanks for ruining the moment guys. It's deeply appreciated," I muttered, sarcasm and annoyance evident on my voice.

"But we're not the only ones hiding though," Zhangjing revealed. Wenjun nudged him but it was too late.
