I looked into the car window and saw a large black bag. Looking closer I could just make out all the $50 notes inside.

I wanted to scream, to run, to at least move. I couldn't, my feet where glued to the ground.

... ... ...

Harry finally left and I got my strength back. I sat on my bed and thought about what to do. Half of my brain said. TELL HER, and the other side said not to. If I did tell her, she would either not believe me or be left heart broken.

I decided not to tell her and walked down the stairs.

"Shall we go out for dinner tonight?" Mum asked.

"Why?"

"For the special occasion!"

"What special occasion?"

"HARRY!"

"Fine," I groaned in reply.

... ... ...

About an hour later we arrived at a tacky restaurant named 'Pete's food'. Seeing the house we now lived in, I didn't have high expectations around this area. I opened the door and a quiet bell rang.

"WELCOME! Here, here take a seat my friends!" A large, dark haired man said, ushering us to a table.

I sat on the wooden (uncomfortable) seat and took a menu. "Erm, I think I'll have nachos,' I said, quickly scanning the menu. Nothing looked good but at least I knew I wouldn't get food poisoned having nachos.

"Sure!" The big man said as he jotted it down. "What will you have ma'am?" He asked mum who was looking at her menu in disgust. "I'll have the nachos as well. No cheese please," mum replied then pulled a face when the large man looked away.

I laughed to myself.

Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
