Chapter 2: The Accident

                                                                                August 30 2:30 p.m

                      It's  been a week ever since Melia and Jason started and they already made friends with thier "not" so crazy dormmates. Classes ended and Jason invited Melia to lunch at "Chili's". When they arrived at the restaurant they got seated right away since Jason's dad was good friends with the owner. "So...what do you want?" Jason asked but Melia looked like he hadn't even asked the question. "(Sigh) He's so cute, he likes anime which is amazing" Melia said all lovey-dovey like. "Uhh...Melia..." Jason said "Is she talking about me?" Jason mumbled "Hopefully not" he mumbled again as the waiter arrived "May i get you two started with a drink?" the waiter asked as Jason kept on nudging Melia's shoulder "MELIA!" Jason shouted "I'm sorry but will you order for you and your girlfriend?" the waiter asked "Whoa, no, we are just friends Mr. ....Clay" Jason said "Clay Cannibal?" Jason asked "Jason Ricky Rogers" Clay said as they hugged "What're you doing here, buddy?" Jason asked "Oh, i asked your dad for a job and he told the owner about me and i was hired" Clay said "Sweet, we'll have three large cokes" Jason said "Ok, three...wait, is someone else coming?" Clay said "Dude, do i know you?" Jason asked sarcastically "Oh wait, Mr. Many Cokes, by the way how's your dad?" Clay said as Jason's happy feeling quickly went away "He's dead..." Jason said "Oh...how did he die?" Clay said "No one knows, its just when i found him he had a knife in his heart so he was clearly murdered" Jason said "I don't wanna talk about it" "Ok, three cokes coming up" Clay said as he went to the kitchen.

                                                                                      3:00 p.m.

                      Jason's food arrived when Melia finally stopped talking about that random boy at school. "Here's your giant bowl of Mac & Cheese and two more cokes" Clay said "Thanks Bro" Jason said as he looked at Melia who seemed confused, "How long have we been here?" Melia asked "Long enough for me to get high on Coke" Jason said as Melia saw the seven other glasses of Coke "Ok, I promised your mom that I would make sure you won't get drunk with Coke" Melia said as she grabbed the other two cokes "(Sigh) Fine!" Jason said.

                                                                  S.U.C Environmental Lab 3:00 p.m

                            "Doctor Jones" a 19 year old boy said "Yes Rick" Dr. Jones said "The portal...it's collapsing" Rick said "Mr. Mason, I've taken every precaution, it is not going to collapse" Dr. Jones said as an explosion happened.

                                                                        Chili's Resturaunt 4:00 p.m

                               When Jason and Melia finished their food, Clay's shift was done so he was glad when Melia asked him to come with them to the Movies. While they were getting out Jason saw an explosion in the distance and tried to tell Melia and Clay but neither of them would listen. So Jason shut the door closed, grabbed Clay's keys and locked the door which got Melia's attention as she saw the explosion in the distance. "Jason, what're you doing?" Melia asked frightened "Saving your life" Jason said as the particle wave hit him and he fell unconscious and Melia and Clay ran to him, put him on Clay's back and took him to the hospital.

                                                                     S.U.C Enviromental Lab 6:00 p.m

                           When Doctor Jones came out of the room with a not so good face. "Doc, is he gonna be okay?" Melia asked "Well...his heart beat is normal but he had been having seizures" Dr. Jones said "What're you saying?" Melia asked "I'm saying he might not make it" Dr. Jones said.
